“My favorite Korean restaurant in DMV area. Very friendly staff and the food is AMAZING! They have so much different things on the menu especially something hard to get from other Korean restaurants. Whatever you are craving for, it is here. They also really appreciate the customer from out of town cause they know that we have to make a drive to come here for the food. Only thing is I am a little far away so I have to come here only during weekends, wish they are right down the street from my home.Thank you for scrumptious food.Nothing to complain about this place. Every time I am here I go home with full belly and happiness.“
“Food is great. Service is great. And the ambiance is cozy. Typical Korean Chinese cuisine interior. The food here taste a little bit more clean and fresh compared to other Korean Chinese places. The owners are sweet and kind, so is the staff. I will continue to return ~“
“We came to try this place on a Monday and overall it was a great experience. The servers were really nice and kind. We did the AYCE and the tried different types of meat. The meats were fresh, high quality and delicious. The pace of the food coming out was good and we didn't feel rush. We loved the atmosphere and will come back again.Kid-friendliness: All the servers were trying to keep our kids entertained and were really friendly“
“You (that's her name) was our bartender while we wait for a table and she was AWESOME! She told my wife what kind of drinks she might be interested in and my wife was happy with her recommendations. Marcus, I have to say is one of the best if not THE best server we ever had. He always checked up on us, ask if we need refill in beverages or food. Keep in mind that it was a full house and he was running all over the place and still manage to take any order we have. SO restaurant is the best Korean BBQ we've been to and we have been to A LOT of Korean BBQ. Looking forward to coming back!“
“Our first experience with Korean BBQ but not our last. While all KBB seem to have similar menus I was drawn to Honest because of its seats. My wife suffers with osteoarthritis and Honest was the only restaurant I called which had padded booths. The mundane out of the way down to the serious business of food. In a word, magnificent and lots of it for the two of us. I wondered why KBB restaurants were expensive but rest assured there's enough food for dinner and lunch the next day, for two. And then there're the side dishes, sauces and salad all of which blend together into a culinary symphony. And to pull it together two Korean lads who approached BBQing the dinner with surgical precision.and the Korean Cheese Cake, who knew.Well done, we'll be back.“
“K Bobsang is a Korean eatery located inside the Lotte supermarket, as part of their food court. Their menu offers various Korean eats such as galbi tang, kimchi juhn, chungukjahng, dduk galbi, etc. They also feature daily specials, such as 'Hamburg Steak', daegu maeun tang (spicy codfish stew), etc. We came here for a later lunch, and we ordered: +Kimchi Juhn - kimchi pancake; this doesn't come with sauce, but you can request a cup of their yangnyum gangjang for some dipping; note that this kimchi juhn contains piece of pork, which I didn't know; more on the bland side, but the hubs enjoyed this +Chung Guk Jahng - I really enjoyed this soy bean stew, which uses super fermented soy beans; definitely an acquired taste! It wasn't as thick as I'd like, but the flavor was yummy and great with the bowl of rice that comes with; filled with lots of tofu, mushrooms, and potatoes +Yuhl Moo Bibim Guk Soo - a spicy noodle dish with radish kimchi; this was more on the sweeter end; noodles were prepared perfectly, but wished this was more spicier and more savory There was marinated seaweed salad and kimchi served as banchans. Service was very kind and friendly. Note that this place gets slammed during the lunch and dinner rush - you'll see ahjummas, ahjushees, harabujees, and halmunees all lined up, getting their stews, bibimbops, and soups - definitely a popular spot! Since they have a small kitchen, orders are usually backed up, and you'll be waiting at least 30+ minutes or so. Plenty of seats at the food court area, and plenty of parking in the plaza lot. +Chung Guk Jahng +friendly service +located inside Lotte +plenty of parking“
“Great tasting fried chicken, Korean style. Several flavors to choose from. From mild to very spicy but all good. This Authentic Asian recommends this place. it is not westernized. Dont get me wrong, western food is good. But this place is real and true to the culture.“
“As expected, the kimbap is famous... but the people working there seem to be very tired, so they all have expressionless expressions and are silent. Only working Spanish people smile. The restaurant's lighting and colors are dull, and the impression is dull, so it's not enjoyable for eaters. If you smile, you will be blessed.. “
“We are regulars here! This is by far my favorite kbbq. Great service and not too long of a wait if you just walk in on a weekend. They have the best sides that are all fresh and homemade. The steam egg is not as smooth as it could be, but that's really my only issue. The japchae, mashed potatoes, and cheese corn are simply THE BEST !If you don't eat pork, the menu can be a little limiting.“
“The food here is worth your money for all you can eat. The service is very accommodating for people who are new to korean bbq. They were really friendly and gave good recommendations and were attentive without being intrusive. My only complaint would be how loud the music is but other than that the environment was great.“
“This is my go to spot for soondooboo jjigae (spicy tofu stew). The soup is always v flavorful and the silken tofu is so soft. I love that they give you a raw egg to crack into the hot stew - the stew comes in the stone pot so it stays hottt for a while. They also have meat dishes like bulgogi and galbi that are p good too.“
“Best fried chicken place in town. I visited here during lunch hour. I tried French delight for an appetizer and their new bbq signature rice bowl. Was little spicy but with mayo and rice, it was great! Their atmosphere is nice and clean. It was busy during lunchtime, but the server who served us was friendly.“
“We ordered the seafood and beef soup. The portions for one person is huge, specially the seafood. 2 person can eat it. The service are good. They keep coming if you want to have more broth. We will definitely come back and bring our friends.“
“My family and I stopped by while traveling thru town. We ordered Bulgogi and Dak Kalgooksoo. Their Banchan were flavorful with the right balance of spice and heat. Entrée portions are generous. Our server was helpful and very nice. We were pretty happy to find this restaurant.“
“I was happy to find this new restaurant in Centreville specializing in pork dishes (as well as other Korean dishes). Pork soup and Jockal (pig's trotters) were tasty, served with numerous side dishes and fresh lettuces. Overall, it's a very clean place with delicious Korean dishes, and I highly recommend it.Parking: This place has plenty of parking spaces in front and around as it locates in Centreville Square area.“
“We came in on a random weekday in the late afternoon and it was not busy. You order corndogs at the kiosk and you can order their regular menu items at the front! We got bibimbap and the mushroom/ oyster jook?/juk? ? and both were tasty! It’s a very nice and low-key place to eat lunch! We will certainly come back ☺️“
“Good Korean BBQ. I wish there were more options on the menu for combo meats. It's with all the meats by type or single meat orders. Service is super fast when you arrive lots of attention getting food out and cooking. Servers do your cooking at this spot- The staff is slower on the checkout process.“
“It is a very good place, attentive to what I needed, as soon as I entered the place I could see the order, the bread really looked exquisite, I fell in love as soon as I entered, the price-quality prices are at the point where they can raise their prices to get more $$ but they would lose some customers, I think they are in a good balance.“
“Jangwon in Centreville is an absolute gem for lovers of Korean cuisine. Their jajangmyeon is hands down the best in the area, with perfectly cooked noodles smothered in a rich and flavorful black bean sauce that leaves you craving more with every bite. But that's not all - their spicy jjamppong is a true standout. The broth has a subtle smokey flavor that adds depth to the dish, and the combination of seafood and vegetables creates a harmonious balance of flavors and textures. And let's talk about their tang su yuk - the portions are huge! Crispy, tender pieces of meat coated in a sweet and tangy sauce make for a satisfying and indulgent meal that's perfect for sharing (or not!). With delicious food and generous portions, Jangwon never disappoints. Whether you're craving comforting classics like jajangmyeon and jjamppong or looking to indulge in tang su yuk, this restaurant is a must-visit for Korean cuisine enthusiasts in the area.“
“Came in from out of town and got to visit this wonderful little chicken restaurant while in Centerville. The food came out very fresh and flavorful. Definitely the best soy garlic sauce and plain fried chicken I've had in awhile! The drinks were also cold and the ambiance just right for enjoying a cold beer and chicken in an evening. Looking forward to going again!“
“Today I place an order around noon for delivery at 9:00pm. I order the dish Soondae+Bossam, the order came right at 9:00pm on the dot. This little girl came out the car name Jenny with mask and gloves(due to all the virus going around)... very professional and clean. Food was great 10 out of 10. Would strongly recommend eatting here!“
“Ordered online for pickup. Food was not ready as stated. Had to wait 15 additional minutes before food was ready. Staff member was nice but a young guy. Staff member checked the bag before giving me my food to go. Took the food to the office and realized that Bonchon forgot to include my kimchi that I ordered. I called back up to the restaurant to make it known and the young staff member answered. He didn't seem to care too much about forgetting to put my kimchi in the bag and he gave a half hearted "I'm sorry".“
“I came here on a Saturday night for dinner. There was no wait and I was seated quickly. Overall: Service is nice, decent food, okay prices. Seafood pancake: definitely comes in a big appetizer size to share with others. Crispy outside and has a kick to it since there's peppers inside. LA galbi: good flavor, some pieces were fatty & chewy. Tofu kimchee: comes with pork belly. Very filling and can probably share this dish with 1-2 other people especially if eating it with rice.“
“Was excited to try Yi's Traditional after hearing some good reviews coming from this place. So a friend and I had to give it a try for lunch and see what the rave was about. The Food: I went with the "Brisket Ox Bone Soup" and also got the "Brisket Meat Platter" to share with my friend. The soup broth is bland, but that's the point of it. You have tableside salty to add on to flavor to your liking. Which I really like. It's a very clean and healthy meal. Although, for the price, there wasn't that much protein and noodles in my soup, which was disappointing. The meat platter had plenty of brisket on the plate, just expensive for what it was. Overall, a nice and delicious meal. Just pricey. The Service: Service was good. Even with limited staff, they are very attentive and friendly. The Atmosphere: Nice and open space. A little small of a restaurant, but there are a decent amount of seats available. The place is overall clean and well spaced for comfort.Overall, a 3.5/5. Food was good, but nothing to rave about. Main problem is the pricing that is associated with the dishes. Wayy too pricey for the amount of food you get.“
“New Jersey Busan Gukbap, Sarigol. This restaurant completely changed my mind as I thought these two places were the best for soup and rice in the East. The sundae soup was very clean and delicious, and the pig's feet were soft and very delicious without any fishy smell. It was slightly seasoned, so you can eat it without salted shrimp. I also ordered tripe stew and it was really great. I don't like tripe hotpot, but this taste was on a completely different level. In the review, it said to eat steamed kimchi and assorted sundae, but I understand why. We didn't eat it. All the other tables were eating steamed kimchi and assorted sundae. It looked very delicious. When I saw it, this place had tripe hotpot, steamed kimchi, and assorted sundae. I think pig’s feet are their signature. Oh, by the way, if you look at other reviews, the workers were unfriendly, but I'm not sure. They took good care of my kids and explained the menu kindly, and it was very good. One drawback is that the price is a bit high, but it's worth paying for the taste. I will definitely stop by again next time I go to Virginia.“
“A worker accidentally made a reservation for my party on the weekend and FYI they do not accept reservations on the weekends for parties less than 6. I didn’t know until I got there and they told me and I had to wait. Fortunately they gave my party the next available table due to the misunderstanding and free beverages. They handled it very well and respectfully. The meat quality and service is also the best for kbbq in nova. Will always be coming here“
