TL;DR: small menu but everything is done well. Fast service and generous portions. We always love trying a place that does jokbal/soondae. We came here on a Friday evening, and it was packed! Also note, they close pretty early at 7:30PM. Interior has a good amount of tables, but they're fairly close to one another, but not bad since the food comes out very quickly. FOOD: ~Soondae (4/5): not the best soondae I've ever had, but still a solid choice. The flavor was more mild, but when using the salt or sawoojjut, it was pretty tasty ~Jokbal (4.5/5): The portion was HUGE! And it was so soft and flavorful. I like that they give you all the pieces of the hock and not just the the cut part ~Gam Ja Tang (4/5): you get a huge portion of the pork which was very tender. Because the pork bone was so big, there wasn't as much soup but it was still very good Overall, worth the visit, and I would definitely come back here and try other items on their menu!

We were looking for an alternative to Seoul Soondae (in Annandale) for soondae and soondae soup. I went in for a takeout order and the soondae soup was surprisingly packed with soondae. Even just the soondae platter seemed more than Seoul Soondae. They were very generous with the portions and the food itself was on par. Although I did not dine in, interior was quite spacey and clean. Plenty of seats and very cafeteria vibe. With the portion size they gave, I'll be coming back for the other menu items :)

I visited here based on a recommendation from another Korean restaurant that was more for couples (BBQ where you paid for 2 even if there was just 1). This place seemed very authentic Korean since the customers did not appear to be new to the food and the dishes were not that "mainstream" for those who weren't familiar with them. I enjoyed the side dishes and barley tea. After much contemplation, I went with the Seolleong tang (beef brisket soup). It was very mild spicy-wise, which was great for me. I brought back the leftovers but unfortunately did not get a chance to eat it before hopping back on the plane back home: I look forward to returning at my next opportunity to do so.

I ordered Jok Bal and Soondae Guk. The Jok bal are too much sticky as if they were put on the microwave. It smelled bad, like it was made a few days ago. I couldn't finish eating, so I called. No fancy decor or ambiance. Just good authentic Korean soul food.Huge portions. Kimchi is definitely not the best. No fancy ban chan. Just good authentic Korean layman's food/street food in huge portions.

New Korean spot that rivals a lot of the Korean soup restaurants in the area! The restaurant is in a very obscure place. We got there at such a great time - around 4:45 to 5. We beat the dinner rush. When we were done, it got super packed. The place looks very bare - it just looks like they rented a random spot. The kitchen is very open I like the Gamja Tang - I love the spicy kimchi soup compared to the clear broth. However, it was very salty. They give you a lot of meat and the Korean sides were excellent. Tasted like homemade kimchi!

I have a favorite place I go to for the Gamja Tang soup. Tonight we decided to try this place and I was very impressed. The portions were generous and very flavorful. The place we normally go to does not give us this large a portion of potatoes or meat. On a very cold night like tonight, this was the perfect meal.

Delicious and while busy, the service was still very friendly. The portions were also incredibly large for the price (I was eating my leftover soup for almost a week afterwards).
