Not the same place we have been going to for years. The two "worn" menus at stand are outdated, which I was told when something rang up at a higher rate than menu (add on fries to cod).Given that their burgers have always been so good, trying the cod was a major disappointment....think frozen fish sticks with tons of breading over miniscule fish flakes, then over fried to hardness. My son's MR patty melt was good. For the first time in years, the fries were hard, but still hot. The younger staff does not take same interest in hospitality/customer service as past employees did.Big screen TV playing PG hispanic channel. Although sound off and CC enabled, it was not appropriate for family/customer dining. As a customer, I HATE being asked for a tip before I am served, as is prompted on the screen they put in front of you. Not leaving a tip makes me feel judged, yet there is no way the staff deserved the tip I left.

We've been coming here since just after it opened and I am so pleased to be able to say that it seems to be getting stronger. The quality is just as high as the first time we ate here. The parking is cramped but they've managed to open up a few more spaces and they've made great use of the historic building inside. I'll happily eat here as often as I can.I'm editing this review because the staff is no longer inviting. The food is still outstanding, however, the gentleman at the counter is off putting in his manner and it makes it hard to feel welcome. I hope it improves.

First visit. With so many burger places around, I wondered if TBS could stand apart. It really did!Unsure what they do on the flat top, but the burger tastes great. The brioche roll works, too. Ordered a regular burger (no mayo). I'll be back. The place is a little "shacky" with used napkins and straw wrappers on the floor by the soda fountain. The exterior is not very inviting, with a trash can blocking one of the doors. All that aside, great burger!

First time eating here, minus the lack of parking this place is a hidden GEM. I am a fan for life. Highly recommend!

The shack (building) is a reproduction of the old McAtee's Tavern built on this site in 1807. Burgers & fries made fresh, took 18 minutes to prepare but worth the wait. My Swiss Mushroom burger was 7oz thick and real good. Fries were crispy. The "generic" ketchup should be replaced please. The patio picnic table should be replaced as well, and entrance door needs a fresh coat of paint.

The burgers and chicken wings are very delicious, and the milkshakes are also delicious. The dining atmosphere in the restaurant is very good. Although there are not many parking spaces, you can still park if you come early. I will want to come back next time I come to the United States.

Our family go-to for burgers! In a historic building, the indoor dining is pretty small. Only about 6-7 tables. But they have some outdoor tables as well which is great for a nice day. Most people seem to take the order to-go. Our favs are the slider sacks, garlic parm fries, sweet potato tots, and the loaded tots.

Omg.... I saw a roach run across the floor INSIDE the building... there food use to be good 5 years ago. Customer service is terrible, the cooks are rude if you complain about anything. Do not recommend.
