I used to really like Applebee's but like so many big chain restaurants things are going down hill. The meal I used to order just about every time was taken off the menu a few years ago and most of the other meal items I've had haven't been very good except for the chicken tenders.I will say that their appetizers are really good like the honey BBQ wings and brew pub pretzels and if you're there during happy hour appetizers are half price. Tip: when the appetizers are half price the appetizer platter (3 or so different ones on one plate) is not discounted so you can get the same ones as different orders for the same price or a little cheaper than the platter.My family and I ate at this location last week. Except for my pretzels the food wasn't very good and the fries tasted like they had too much pepper on them. I will say that the server, Denise (I think that was her name) was the best server I've ever had here and I've had one or two good ones in the past. She kept drinks coming (they can't refill a glass right now) and just so super friendly!!As long as this place is open I'll come back but probably just for their good appetizers.

Food was still warm when delivered. Neatly packed. My sister had bone in wings this time. She loves them with spicy sauce, celery and Ranch dressing. I had the fried fish, fries and cole slaw. I love the tanginess of the slaw. The fish I have had a few times. Once and a while you don't want beef or pork. Three nice pieces. Great job especially now during the Pandemic.

We had a good server ,but items on the menu was not in stock,had to change my order 2 times,if a business as big as the chain is should tell the waiters what they are out of,.....also most of the staff was not wearing face mask when on the door when entering says face mask required

I wouldn’t work here. Offered my daughter $5.00 per hour for a hostess position, and CLAIMED it was because they get tip share. THE LAW clearly states, COMBINED HOURLY AND TIP wages are $7.25 MINIMUM in Virginia. I will be following up!

Worst experience yet! Fries and fish was undercooked. Sandwich made incorrectly. Bar drink was never put in and came after the food was already on the table. Lack of management. Employees were loud while talking amongst themselves. Food and service were terrible! If this is the best you can do, then close for good.

I was told they don't take orders late.. store don't close til 10pm. Then they stated they don't take orders after 930pm I called at 925pm. Clerk name Samantha. Will not eat here ever again and will encourage others to do the same. Terrible customer services, even during this pandemic

Lil guy waiter came up that was not the hostess told us that the hostess would be right with us sorry for the wait and he would seat us but they have a 'SEATING WAY' . Which we appreciate his kindness right off the bat! The waiter we did have Dillyn was VERY polite and very on top of things as for asking did we need anything. The food was good as ALWAYS..

My dad and mom took us kids here for Sunday lunch and when we walked in the door the host saw us and kept talking to someone then eventually led us to a table. We sat for about 5 minutes while the waiter went by several times. We even heard her ask another Waiter to help us. Now being in the waiter business that is a major no-no. We decided to leave because no one even talked to us to get our drinks. Very poor. Will not recommend.
Great service is the number one thing here, I know a cliche right? But it's true, they check in on you and see how the meal's going and if you need more refreshments. The food is delicious too and they're accommodating with food allergies. This is a great sit-down style restaurant and if you've never been, you should try it sometime.

Order was messed up, took 20 minutes for my drink to get to my table and only after I asked again for it, ketchup was empty, never got a refill of water the whole time, ketchup bottle was empty, one order was wrong and the other order didn't get it's fries until it was time to leave, the waitress couldn't figure out how to use the gift card I had so the meal was full price (checked the gift card balance the next day and it worked fine) and halfway through the meal someone cranked up the volume to a song they liked and left it blasted the rest of the time there.
