Don't let the outside fool you, this is a great little place. Support local. Excellent burger and fries. Onion rings were delicious as were the fried pickles. Definitely will go back when in the area. Oh and correctly priced beer is a plus too.

Me and my friends had been looking for somewhere welcoming and friendly and upon doing some research we came across this place. The second we walked in the door we were greeted with absolutely amazing customer service. They welcomed us in like we were part of the family. The food was delicious and fresh. We tried a if you dare burger it was a pound of beef. Nice and juicy full of flavor. We got some apps while waiting on the food, the jalapeno poppers were mouthwatering. I rate this one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in Charlottesville. 10/10 thru and thru. If you are looking for somewhere that brings a comforting atmosphere and reasonable prices give them a try. They also do catering!
