Used yelp in an area new to me, didn't look like much but I popped in for a bubble tea and bulgogi bowl and I was genuinely surprised at the big portion, the amazing flavor, and the great service! This is no fast food place, even though it was fast!

Danbap is consistently delicious--my go-to is the j-bowl with extra pork. The service is quick (order ahead so that it's waiting for you) and the folks are always kind.

It seems that the restaurant is primarily a boba tea shop and they do have a nice selection of teas and add-ins in that regard. I just ordered a straightforward Oolong tea (which was quite nice), as we were there primarily to get lunch. It's was not immediately obvious what the food options were since they didn't appear on the large overhead menus. However, a quick look at Yelp showed about a half dozen available food options. We ordered a beef bibimbap bowl and vegetarian bibimbap (with fried tofu strips). Although the food isn't gonna surprise with unusual ingredients, fancy presentation, or out of this world flavors, the food was well made, portions sizes were very good and both bowls were very tasty. I would definitely consider coming back here for a quick, easy and tasty lunch. Perhaps even get a boba tea next tea which might push this review into five star territory. Service was friendly and prompt. The only minus was the sticky floor which felt like it needed a good scrubbing.

Danbap is great for some tasty Korean food in Charlottesville without having to go to a sit-down restaurant. The combo bowl was enough to fill me up, and the quality of the dish is great especially considering how quick and convenient it is. Plus you can grab yourself boba tea while you're there at kft! On top of the food and convenience, the workers there are always quick and helpful with their service and recommendations. This place fulfills all of the things I expect, so I definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a quick bite to grab in the Charlottesville area!

The bowl I had at Danbap was extremely yummy while also not breaking the bank. The beef bulgogi was one of the best that I have had and combined with the crunchy veggies and sticky rice proved to work well. I am usually not good with spice but I was able to handle the spicy vinaigrette which added to the depth of flavor and rounded the bowl out perfectly. All for under 10 dollars is a rarity in this area and I will definitely be coming here more often.

I absolutely loved the the B bowl! The spicy sauce is absolutely amazing and the service was great :) I definitely recommend this if you're in the area and I'll 100% be back!

The serving sizes are so generous for the price and daniel never skimps on the meat. It always tastes fresh and gives a sense of a home cooked meal. Customer service is always top notch and parking is available which is nice since most of the restaurants on the corner do not hav parking. Would recommend trying!

The J Bowl is on point! Nice meat to rice ratio and the sauce is just spicy enough. But the sauce for the Bulgogi Bibimbap is way too sweet. They use alot of sugar in the red sauce.*edit - I ordered from them again and they left a note in it stating that they adjusted the sauce! The sauce is definitely less sweeter now. Awesome customer service. I'll definitely be a regular ?
