Food was great, came with little traffic. The rice of the Doma Lunchbox did not have anything and was plain white rice but nothing disappointing. Homemade sodas are wonderful, and server was nice.

I was in Charlottesville when I had an overpowering craving for japchae. DOMA showed up on my Google Maps, so I put in a 1 pick-up order before heading back to NOVA. Next time, I'll dine in! The japchae was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and best of all, not too noisy. DOMA is a place where you linger, either with friends or on your own, blissed out by first-rate Korean cuisine!

Excellent Korean food - I lived in Korea for 3 years - this is legit. Three visits. Service is rarely better than average even when the place is not crowded. That being said the food is worth the trade-off.

This has been one of my favorite dinning experiences! The friends you bring along the way help many restaurants have fonder memories, and while my company was good the food was truly the star!I was able to try the Korean BBQ plate with 3 different meats: beef (10/10), spicy chicken (9/10), and pork belly (11/10). They smacked so hard!!! Also, their pickled vegetables were amazing and so nice in addition to the meat and rice (cooked perfectly by the way). And their spicy kimchi was great as well, definitely carrying a kick of heat. I also got to try their wings…perfection!I’d highly recommend this place! The pricing was fair too for what you are getting, not cheap, but also it’s not a cheap dish. I’d say get the beef bbq plate if your afraid of being adventurous, it’s great and was loved by everyone at our table. If ya want a bolder flavor tho, the pork belly is where it’s at!P.S. the bathrooms were nice and clean too!

Delicious korean food with really friendly staff! I particularly enjoyed the kimchi fried rice, kimchi jeon and the spicy pork bbq! The staff were very friendly and offered some great menu recommendations too :)

My family and I were in town for the weekend. We LOVE authentic Korean food so we were excited to try DOMA after reading all the positive reviews. The first red flag was the missing banchan. An authentic korean restaurant without banchan? Then everything we ordered was watered down, bland, and inauthentic. My husband couldn't even get kimchi with his bibimbop without ordering it seperately. The service was also bad. Our waitress brought us wings without the sauce and ignored it when we brought it to her attention. Then she forgot to bring my kids their drinks. If you like authentic, traditional korean food with good service, this is not the place.

The food and atmosphere were incredible and our server Alvin elevated the experience by providing excellent customer service! Everything came out quick (we went near their lunchtime closing so it was less busy but still very impressive). My favorite dishes were the DOMA BBQ beef, and the kimchi pancakes, but everything we ordered was delicious.

Doma has nice, solid, Korean food. It'd probably get 5 stars anywhere else I've lived in the US, but the Korean food game in Cville is strong. Go there, checkout for yourself, and compare to the other restaurants, this might be your fave. ; )

WOW! First off idk how anyone can give this place anything but 5 stars. Korean food, in my opinion, has the best flavors in the world. I am a "Korean food aficionado" and I love to try different Korean restaurants every where I travel to. Best dish combo is beef bulgogi (dolsot+) bibimbap, kimchi, and pickled daikon radish. Thats usually my go to and I can eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner every day for the rest of my life. My favorite spot to get this was in Little Ferry NJ, which I would occasionally go to when I loved in NY. But DOMA is now my favorite Korean restaurant on earth and I don't think their will ever be a location I find as remarkable. Amazingly good food. Flavor is undescribable. Must must go. Get the combination of items I mentioned previously. Also comes with a very good gochujang sauce that I WISH they would tell me the recipe for. I live 2 hrs away from here and can't wait to come back for more. So far I've eaten there 3 nights in a row, and I will probably go there 1 last time tomorrow before I head home. On top of the good food I criticize restaurants based on the taste of their water. Some restaurants either don't filter the water or don't change the filters. The water at DOMAs is some of the high quality h2o water that tastes like its melted from the cleanest glacier on the highest mountain. They definitely have a high quality filter and change the filters. Rastaurant is also very clean and they have some good alcohol options. Staff is extremely friendly, smile a lot, and provide very good and fast service. Boomers and GenX be prepared to scan a qr code with your camera to get to the paperless menu. Prices are very very reasonable especially considering the qualityAnyone giving DOMA anything less than 5 stars is either narcissistic or had their taste buds burned off. I wish I could try all there menu items but I can't help myself but to get the same thing that I love so much. Wonder if they would cater a wedding?

Cheerful, brightly-lit space, not crowded early Saturday evening. Service was charming and efficient. I don't know much about Korean food, but I enjoyed my soup with udon noodles. The kimchi soup was good, but very spicy.
