Wonderful service, food and drinks! The atmosphere is cozy but elevated, and the food/drinks were elegant for reasonable prices! Shoutout to server Grace W for attentive friendly service!!

Came for Cville Restaurant Week. Food was meh and quantities varied a lot, as one in our group got consistently less food. Vegan pie and banana bread were less flavorful than I had hoped. Atmosphere was alright and server was very attentive.

Selected Fig for dinner as part of Charlottesville restaurant week. We enjoyed the atmosphere and attentive staff. Our party enjoyed the Salmon, Vegan pie and Southern chicken. They were able to accommodate a nut allergy for us as well. Gumbo appetizer was very good and served hot. One inconsistency with the chicken dish. Two orders with different presentations. One with gravy over a centered dish. One not hot with the chicken to the side with gravy along the other edge. I did not mention the not hot meal to the server nor my friends as I didn’t want to disrupt their meal. I understand you would have corrected so I gave 4 stars. So good but not yet great.

For $35/pp, we got the choice of an appetizer, entree, and dessert item during this year's restaurant week. Our server was very nice although she seemed a bit uniformed about the menu and drink options. I ordered homemade pierogis in a truffle cream sauce, salmon with mushroom, walnut, and spinach risotto, and the Nutella beignets. The pierogis were underwhelming, but the cream sauce was delicious. The salmon was very flavorful and the risotto was cooked well. The dessert was disappointing-it was one single beignet that was soggy and difficult to eat. My partner ordered the gumbo, jambalaya, and bourbon banana bread pudding. He thoroughly enjoyed the gumbo, thought the jambalaya was good but not amazing, and said that the bread pudding was tasty. Service was quick and the restaurant's atmosphere was very cozy. Overall a good meal!

The food was rather salty but still very delicious. My biggest gripe was the Nutella filled beignets - it's plural implying you'll get more than one, but I only got one, and it was hard as a rock on the outside.

The food is terrible. Bruschetta is not really bruschetta, just gross mozzarella on bad bread with tasteless tomatoes. The Earth Bowl they served us bore no resemblance to what was on the menu. The salmon was overcooked, not crusted in walnuts and also tasteless.

It's a really open yet tight and quaint breakfast spot. The food and drinks were good. I would definitely recommend getting different items to try because everything is really filling. The alcoholic drinks were just alright. We did like that half the place was open with windows so it felt less cramped inside.

Visited fig with my wife for her birthday. Restaurant was very busy but we got seated quickly. Service was lovely, i had walnut salmon and my husband ordered pork chop and both dishes were amazing. Very cute place, we will definitely see you soon.

The restaurant is nice, with a warm atmosphere. The food is delicious, but be aware that the plates are somewhat well-served, so you don't need to order more than 3 in total. We made the mistake of ordering 4 each thinking that the portions would be small, but in the end it was too much food. I went to celebrate my anniversary and they gave us a dessert to celebrate. Very good service and tasty food.

Food was good, server was quite good. However, the restaurant had an extremely large party for a young woman celebrating her 21st birthday. There were only two remaining tables. The restaurant should have contacted us beforehand to let us know and should have closed the restaurant and made it a private party. They actually took over the place, even using some type of amplifier for music and a speech, the noise level was intolerable (almost impossible for us to talk it was so loud), and the crowd was standing and wandering all over the restaurant (within inches of our table) while we were eating. They clearly thought they had the whole restaurant to themselves and management did nothing to contain it. If we had known beforehand we would not have come. In addition, the restaurant incorrectly reported to OpenTable that we were a no-show on the reservation. I wish we had been. In addition to the spectacle in the restaurant making it impossible for us to have much of a conversation, they were out of the two items on the menu (on a Saturday night) that I had planned to order. Because the food and service was good, I suspect we would have had good experience had they not booked a huge party without closing off other reservations, but their failure to do so is really inexcusable. For us, it was a lost evening and a waste of $120.00 for dinner out.

Fig is amazing. Great food, service and ambience. Reminded me of a quant New England Inn. Went for dinner and loved it so much, went back the next day for Brunch. Must have reservations on weekends.

I came here today with some girlfriends and we had a good experience for how busy brunch was! We were able to be seated very quickly and order our food. Everything was great and the portions were huge! I loved my biscuits they were just a tad bit dry. My vegetarian egg plate was delicious and packed with veggies as well. I loved all the vegetarian friendly options so that's a huge plus!! Just be aware since it's right near UVA, Sunday brunch can get pretty crowded and be a bit loud with all the college age students. It was cute though, it was someone's birthday so they brought out some cake and played a birthday song for this girl and her group of friends.

Owned by a couple and staffed by students, this great “hole in the wall” is stylish, tasty, and fun. We sat in the alley and had a great time. The decor is cute and the food is good. Staff is incredibly friendly and warm.

Another lovely brunch at fig. My chicken sunrise was fabulous. And my daughter loved her Oreo pancakes.
