My wife and I stopped into Fox's Cafe for breakfast following a quick search of places to try while in Charlottesville. This was a hole in wall that got great reviews. Part of the reviews explained this was a local my owned and staple to the community with a local crowd and it certainly was. Upon entering we realized this was a very small but cozy establishment. The owner was cooking and the staff knew the names of just about every patron that called in a order or showed up to dine in. We ordered the biscuit and gravy, blueberry pancakes, veggie omelette, has browns and scrambled eggs. Everything was great and the coffee was awesome. The staff was over the top friendly and the prices were extremely reasonable. The only issue we had was everything came out on paper plates, styrofoam cups and plastic utensils. That was pretty much out only complaint. It wouldn't deter us from breakfast next time in Charlottesville.
