Stopped by here for lunch during a recent work trip to Charlottesville and loved it so much I returned the next four days. Everything I had was delicious, but my favorites were the tomato bisque and the gobbfather sandwich. I agree with some other reviewers that there was a bit too much spicy mayo, but that's definitely not a dealbreaker. I was also very impressed with their iced coffee. Highly recommend!

The en Fuego burrito is excellent. Just big enough to fill, but not so much it's painful.

I was passing through town, and as a vegetarian I love caprese sandwiches. They’re one of my go to sandwiches anywhere I can get them. Normally a “safe comfort food” so to speak. This was the worst caprese I have had in my life. The cheese was more rubbery than it should’ve been, and had a strange texture. Secondly, it was DRENCHED in mayo. To the point that the bread was WET. It made me start audibly gagging. Lastly, the clerk was rude. I stated that I’d like my food to go and his response was “well we’re gonna wrap it like we always do” in a very condescending tone. When I walked in and asked where a menu was, so I obviously hadn’t been there before, and I won’t be back. -10/10

Upon a local's recommendation, my friends and I ordered lunch to go. The menu was surprisingly large, and it was hard to choose. But I kept coming back to the bacon jammin' sandwich. It was huge! And yes, very juicy. It could have even been a tad bit less sweet. That being said, the whole thing was eaten. My friend's salad with squash was very satisfying, and everyone loved the biscuits. Can't go wrong with this spot. Easy to order online for pickup.

Lucky we asked a local where to grab a sandwich to eat tailgating before the UVA game and they suggested this place and it was good!!! Ordered online and was easy to go and pick it up at the to-go window. Everything was included and was ready even 5 minutes early! Texted when it was ready! Husband got the cubano and it was delicious and full of meat! I got a bite and we still had half leftover. Nice sized! I tried the soup of the day which was a potato chicken kale soup and it was outstanding! I love soup and this was good! Also got a 1/3 baguette and they do their bread right! Also tried their double chocolate brownie and was delicious. Homemade lemonade was also amazing. Glad a local told us about this as it made our lunch and tailgate perfect!

This is a takeout deli. You can pick up a paper menu to peruse the sandwich choices. Then, walk through the shop to pick out your beverage, any bagged snacks (for tailgating or to eat out on the patio), and put in your order at the checkout. You wait outside for your order (text will notify you when it's ready), and you can sit outside at a number of tables or in your vehicle.Parking: FYI: there is VERY LIMITED parking around the building, and it can be difficult to find a space at busy times. Would also not recommend coming in a large truck, as you must drive around the (narrow) sides and back of the building to the parking area.

This place just doesn't miss. I've not had a bad sandwich here yet. I love the Hoos got Beef, En Fuego, and the Cali Girl. The service is consistently good, the staff is friendly and ready to answer questions, and I love that the fridge is stocked with local beer, kombucha, and sweet treats. I'm a big fan of supporting local small businesses and this place gets it. The fact that they've got a souffle egg on the menu should be enough to make you want to run in for a taste, and I'm telling you now, there's no better breakfast move than that perfectly prepared egg on a croissant. The meat-to-bread ratio of their sandwiches does not miss! It's super casual inside, so great for stopping by for some pre-gaming or driving through on business for road snacks and a sub that will fill you up without weighing you down for the drive.

You can’t go wrong with breakfast or lunch here, it’s so good! I was in town for a work trip and had it for lunch back in July. I got the chicken salad wrap and lime agave mint tea. It was so good that I came back for breakfast the next day for a sandwich and coffee. A month in a half later I had to be back for a work trip and will get breakfast and lunch here again!!! I craved the tea for 6 weeks.
