I have been going to this Kungfu Tea location since it first opened in cville as I normally love the taro slushes. However, instead of the normal taro slush - I was given a super icy dark colored slush. I asked if they forgot to put the milk powder base as it is normally creamy. I was informed the taro slush is only made with ice and taro syrup. But that isn't correct, I have been getting this drink for years and even I know it is always made with milk powder. The cashier even suggested that maybe I went to a different location that does it differently- but all kung fu tea locations make the taro slush the same and this is the first time this location has made this drink so incorrectly. The employees were nice and immediately remade it for me but there needs to be more training on how to make the drinks.While my drink was remade, it was completely melted and no longer slush form so overall very disappointed in my experience.

1)Order from the kung fu tea app and for some reason it did not come through to their system. 2) I just finished my Oreo wow drink and as I get to the bubbles at the very bottom someone SPRAYED THEIR PERFUME INTO MY DRINK! and im wondering is this done to EVERYONE or just to someone like me !? And this is my first time buying a drink from you all and this is my experience? I'm very upset about my drink . Please do better and start being better people . This could have sent me to the ER!

I worked here for like 4 hours one time and didn't come back, some of the girls are nice but today I went in with my friend and got a boba, they didn't tell us it didn't have boba bubbles in the wow drinks so it was basically just milk and brown sugar, I asked to remake it with additional boboa even willing to pay and the guy at the counter acted so annoyed. Why would I pay $7 for lactaid and sugar...

Haven't had the food, but it smells amazing as soon as you walk through the door. The oreo wow boba drink is totally amazing. My daughter's favorite and only boba destination.

The tea was good, we got the Peach oolong and passion fruit green tea with bubbles. The food we got really sucked. We got the #1 BBQ pork bowl and the #2 Island chicken bowl(spicy). Both meats were super fatty. There was barely any flavoring in the bowl. It was basically fatty meat on top of lettuce and unseasoned rice. I ate what I could of the chicken and threw away everything else.

Today they got my drink wrong and it's not the first time. I've given this place several chances because I love boba tea but I just can't recommend this place. I'd go to Moge Tee if you want some boba tea.

Always need to stop here when in the area. Parking can be tricky sometimes. They have couches and a table to play games. Consistent quality bubble tea.
The teas here are fantastic. You can choose how much sugar you'd like added, and there are plenty of vegan options as well.All the staff members are younger, but SO courteous. They are old souls as they know to make the customer happy.If you have questions about bubble tea, this is the place to go. They explain the process and options and are so patient and friendly with newbies.I'll be back.

I usually get there mango slush and add bubbles. They are quick and it taste good. I would recommend when ordering to get less sugar instead of regular due too it being too sweet depending on who's making it.Parking: Small and tight. It fills up fast due to surrounding businesses.

Came here twice in three days both times 15 minutes before close. The first time they said their smoothie machine was down for the day so I left. The second time the front door was actually locked. They don’t adhere to their posted or advertised operating times. Don’t know if management doesn’t pay employees to close or if they’re just lazy. Wasted a trip twice!

Always happy service. Good drinks and a nice place to get out of the summer heat. I stop here frequently and have never had an issue. They have a lot of people in and out and manage to keep the store front and bathrooms clean and sanitary. They are pricier for the drinks, but overall, a good drink joint.
