I leave reviews for impactful sites; whether positive or negative. This place is definitely a must. Everything we had was delicious, baked to perfection, flavorful, and tasted BETTER than grandma’s best home cooked meal. The atmosphere is elegant and calm enough to enjoy that soothing freshly made coffee. The staff are kind well deserving of praise in their services(to include the peeps up front and in the back).Overall, I highly recommend coming here for a nice breakfast meal.

Best coffee shop EVER!! I go multiple times every time I'm in town. Best flavored iced latte I've ever had and the hash is to die for!! Everyone who works there radiates kindness and I've never gotten something I don't love!! You won't regret going, I promise.

I could survive off petite marie bette alone if I had to. A little dramatic but I frequent often. Lattes are incredible, food is good, and the people are nice. They know what they are doing.

So good. Had the avocado toast with the butternut squash hummus, delicious! The French pastry, perfectly done. Had the Petite cannelé, financier and an amazing Kouign Amann. Everything really tasty and fresh.

I knew this was going South when the guy said we’re busy you can’t order online? I understood they was busy but I wanted to speak to a human because I was getting lunch for someone else not myself. When I went to pick up they had me down for a soup but I ordered a salad (with a human) When I told them my order (20min later) at pick up they said oh we don’t have that salad anymore ?So why did your staff let me order it? Anywho, I reordered something different. When I went back to pick up the guy just placed the salad on the counter. No bag- open fork ? is this how take out is presented? The guy asked did I need anything else, a bag would have been nice but that’s ok

Very neat little French bakery and coffee house. Coffee was just okay (got a latte), but the pastries were absolutely phenomenal! Both the ham & cheese croissant and the petite kouign amann were possibly the best I've had in my entire life. Also tried the chocolate and hazelnut flavored brioche feuilletée which tasted great and had an amazing texture.

Smallish and pretty casual place, but oh my oh my the food ... Wowza. Scrumptious pastries, delectable sandwiches, generous tasty salads, really spot on coffee -- excellence simply abounds, no wrong notes. Recommended by a friend, and I recommend it to all. You might find yourself standing about waiting/wishing for one of the few tables at which to savor all this goodness, and the decor's low key, but those are observations, not criticisms. LOVE this place!Vegetarian options: Really creative and delicious open face vegetarian sandwich option, very much enjoyed it.

Don't sleep on Petite MarieBette. The seasonal specials are great and often where I end up vs MarieBette--see the Pumpkin Spiced Latte and Pumpkin filled Brioche Feuilletée. Also featured is the fried green tomato open faced sammich. Savory and sweet are on point. The spot is easy to get to downtown, and offers order ahead for takeout, which is nice. Finding a seat can be a tougher play as it's a smaller space, but mighty nonetheless!Sidenote: I cannot emphasize enough that you can't go wrong at either location, Petite MarieBette or the original MarieBette. They place nicely together.

I stopped in while passing through the area. I was delighted to find they make their own syrup in house for their pumpkin latte so I gave it a try. Their house made PSL was delicious, perfectly flavored, and not too sweet!

This was a late lunch stop after touring Monticello for over 4 hours. The coffee was excellent. Our meals were good, but seemed a little *light* for what is charged. I'd go back again to give them a try for breakfast pastries. Per usual with these bakeries, there wasn't anything left to try but croissants when we arrived, so we passed on that.
