Tomas was great! The food was outstanding. We got there a couple of days after Mardi Gras - so, we got to enjoy some King Cake. And, our piece had the baby in it - so, good luck for a year due to Quality Pie. Can't beat that!

The dinner menu is awesome, but some of the dishes underwhelmed. Some were great (rigatoni, shrimp, flounder, artichokes), but others were undercooked or over/underseasoned. Just inconsistent. And the pies were lacking in flavor too.Lastly, the chef was quite rude to my group - we ordered another dish later into the meal (it’s counter service) and he loudly complained about it even though we were told we could start a tab!

You don’t have all day, so I’ll get right to the point ?4/10 — inconsistent food and rude people?️ Food: Really wanted to like this spot for its strange mashup of Spanish small plates and various flavors of pie. Turns out that range was a bit more than they could handle. Some of the dishes were solid, including the shrimp and rigatoni. On the other hand, the steak was literally raw (would’ve sent it back if not for the already weird service) and the risotto was under salted. Pies were terrible, except for the key lime. Sad for a place called Quality Pie!??Service: Unfortunately, the service was also quite poor. Although the woman serving us was nice, she was in over her head and visibly stressed out as the only food runner for a counter service restaurant on a Saturday night at 7pm. The chef was belligerent, and could be heard cussing out customers for ordering extra food: “F*cking ridiculous!!!”. No, that behavior is what you should be worried about! They started turning customers away at 7:30pm because they were “out of food”, but with that kind of attitude visible they probably won’t have the problem of excess traffic for too long.
Great home-cooking with a flair of high-end flavors. Great, fast counter service (order at counter, but brought to table) and nice, neighborhood diner ambiance! We will definitely come back.

We did not know what to expect and must say this was a gem! We enjoyed our breakfast biscuits which were delicious. Everything made from scratch. Finished with the best key lime pie we have ever tasted with real whip cream! Can’t wait to come back and try their dinner menu. Their menu is unique and have never seen this selection in the US! Many Spanish dishes!
