“I have been wanting to try Ummas for a few years now - but am rarely in downtown Charlottesville in the evenings. I finally got to go! I enjoyed the menu selections and Korean and Japanese options. I was with my kid who is a very picky eater and he ate all of his karage Japanese chicken - high praise! The kimchi selections are very fresh and delicious. The Korean Fried Chicken is so crispy and yummy. I really am glad to have finally been able to dine here. Also note that it’s a QR ordering system - with option to order at the front counter if the tech fails for you. Go!“
“Had lunch last week here. Best thai I've had in town and the only one that I'd be excited to return too. Much more complexity and depth of flavor. I got green curry. The service was good too, with real plates and silverware - we expected less considering the location.“
“Friendly staff and servers with reliable quality. This location has a challenging drive-through geography. The lot sits on a steep hill so the lanes are a bit tight, but the staff do a very good job keeping cars moving. Food was really good.“

“My friends and I had an amazing first experience w/ Thyme & Co. today! The food was hands-down the best Mediterranean I've had in town... It was so fresh and they made it to order. The wait time may be a little bit longer than some places, but EVERYTHING is made fresh. Rami was amazing as well; very helpful in explaining the menu and ensuring we were comfortable and satisfied. “I eat here at least twice a month. Two pieces of pizza are basically the size of 3-4 normal slices. The staff is always the same, which means they care for their people and they STAY. Consistent, high quality pizza. Warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly people. Family friendly.There are ALWAYS happy kids eating here after their games/practices/recitals.My favorite pizza place in town, walk in, pick your slices, and you’re out in less than 10 min. Why ten min? They warm up the HUGE slices for you, and they come freshly crispy out of the oven. If you are ordering more than 4 slices with specialty toppings, get a whole pie. “We walked up and down the nice downtown mall area and decided this was our first choice for lunch. Overall, it was very good. The burgers were tasty, but actually a little too big and physically difficult to eat. Also, the fries were a dark brown and almost seemed burnt to me. I realize some people like this style, but it was not for me. Service was outstanding. It has a bit of a cramped feel to the seating, especially in the middle area. I had to wait for a few people to clear before I had room to put on my jacket. Also we felt it was a bit pricey, but I think that is typical of all the places in this neighborhood, so understandable. Overall we were satisfied but will try a different place to mix it up next time.“

“Oh yes! Cool little taco joint with a nice selection of stuffs for yo shells! I consumed the goods in the vestibule just outside the side door where a couple of tables and chairs were placed. The architecture was amazing, but the tacos stole the show.“

“I’m from out of town, but I saw signs for Hangry Hut around so I stopped in for dinner. It was amazing! We ordered a chicken pita, a gyro pita, fries and baklava. Everything was well seasoned, fresh, and delicious. I love pita wraps and this one was the best gyro I’ve ever had. We will definitely come back when we are in Charlottesville, to try the rest of the menu!“
