I've always hoped for the best for this restaurant but I'm always disappointed and I'm done with giving it a chance. Last night, during Restaurant Week, the service, quality and accuracy of our order hit an all time low. We arrived and seated at 6:20 and then waited twenty minutes to be greeted for drinks which then took another twenty minutes to be served. The sever blamed the bartender for being slow. She carried a palm computer that either didn't work or she didn't knowing how to use so she was writing our orders post-it notes. She took our orders and disappeared for another twenty minutes and returned asking again for our dinner order because she had lost the post-it note. Giving her the order again we assumed it would get better. The appetizers came and were generally tasteless. The server came and again had to ask which salads we had ordered. She left the table and immediately returned with our salads which were not even close to what we had just ordered a minute or two before. By the way, the side salads came correctly a few minutes later and were the best part of the meal. Entrees came and were huge but were just heavy and over breaded. The manager happened by the table and we let him know of the issues and he politely snatched up the bill, asked who served us, left the table and returned with a 15% discount off one item. Mind you, we hadn't asked for anything or a discount. Upon looking at the bill, the server had charged us for regular entrees and not restaurant week prices. Almost a $70 difference. Once again, but now annoyed, the manager adjusted the bill to the correct amounts (without the previous $3.90 discount) and we waited another twenty minutes for the server to take payment. We asked if she could split the bill between two credit cards and told her how to split the bill. She put the cards back on the table and told us we would have to wait because the manager was trying to split another bill at the time. She eventually came back, took the cards and took another fifteen minutes to process the transactions which came back wrong. At that point, we just signed what she gave us so we could get the heck out of there. We're doubtful we'll ever return.

Had reservations for 7pm on New Years Eve. When we arrived a little before 7, the hostess told us they had seated too many walk-in guests and our wait would be at least an hour; completely unapologetic. We ended up scrambling to find another restaurant. On a related note, I highly recommend Sedona Taphouse near Barracks Shopping Center…

Food quality is poor. At any price our fried chicken, sides, and chicken sandwich would be considered poor quality. Hostess and wait staff were fine. Too bad since the building and location are very nice... Won’t return.

Shadwell's is going through a slump: the food on the reduced menu is fine, but there seems to be a service breakdown -- long wait to get seated, longer wait to have the order taken, incredibly long wait to be served, and the wait to catch the wait staff to have what they forgot to bring the first pass by the table. Yup, things are tough these days, but, despite the good but overpriced food, I hate to have to beg for service. Add that despite the request that one enter with a mask, most people did not. Maybe after the current state of life has changed, if Shadwell's is still around, I might give it a shot, but the limited menu, the poor service, and the management's willingness to ignore its own rules pretty one takes this off my list.

My spouse and I were traveling and stayed at nearby motel. Shadwells was recommend. We liked it so well we ate there two nights. The first night our food and server was excellent, He was very attentive to our needs and answered any questions about the menu. The second night our waitress was terrible. We had to ask twice for items she should have brought the first time. This seemed to take her forever. We had to get her attention for refills and anything else we wanted. It seemed she was busy at the bar joking with the guys! Very dissatisfied! However, again the food was excellent. I

I visited this restaurant twice this week. The location was convenient to our motel and the doctor offices as we were traveling. The food is absolutely wonderful. The first night our server was very attentive. Always there for refills or anything else needed. We were very impressed. So the next night we went because of the first impression. Again, the food we excellant. However, our waitress was... let's just say I would have given her maybe a 1. She brought our food then never came back until we flagged her down. No refills on our drinks. I had askEd for water which we never received and sauces for our oysters. However, we noticed she was very attentive to the guys at the bar. So the service that night was poor, but again the food was excellent.

Stopped in for a light dinner and drinks at the bar on Saturday night. Place was moderately busy, but the sole bartender was able to keep the pace. Food was good, atmosphere good, very friendly waitstaff.

Watch out for online ordering. I ordered a hamburger for my father who was at the hospital. The first time it said it didn’t go through and so I reordered. I received one confirmation. When I arrived to pick it up, I was presented with two orders and billed twice. My only concern was to get a meal to my dad so I told them to give it away. Of course I was still billed. And the burger was over cooked.

Was seated quickly, sat for 20 minutes before another server came up to us from different station. She took order with drinks and food, 20 ministers later still no drinks. She brought them to us while getting the server for our table whom you couldn’t understand. Someone eventually brought our food which was good then another 20 minutes or so to get check. Bushiness was not busy or not could have understood wait times. Very disappointed

About on par with most chain restaurants --not inexpensive for what you get but the service was great

Dont ever go there. Go to Chik Filet up the road this place sucks. Wish I could give no stars. Went there for Sunday brunch today with my kids. We sat for 20 minutes before anyone even approached us. Server was friendly of the two I saw working there, and took our order. Another 20 minutes before my kids got their drinks, my bloody mary which was worst I have ever had came 20 minutes later. After one hour with no food or service I left $10 on table and we left. Went to Beer Run, and had excellent service and food. This place has no staffing, overpriced, and sucks. If a place doesn't have staff, then don't be open. I saw a bunch of old people in there waiting for their food, who probably will pass away before they see it at Shadwells.

Food is good, but way overpriced. I got a full house salad added grilled chicken and the cheesesteak egg rolls and my meal was $32 just for one person. See photo of salad.

Disappointing takeout. I had eaten there once before and remembered it being decent so decided to try some takeout via UberEats. I arrived 5 minutes before it was estimated to be ready- no notification but it was there and ready. Steak Frites: clearly sliced (with the grain) and then cooked on a flat top or pan. Like slices that were seared on the outside and medium rare on the inside. I had ordered medium so not ideal and not what was pictured or expected for a $30+ steak. I don't expect much for takeout presentation but it's still nice to make an effort- this arrived somewhat unappetizingly as browned slices piled in a bowl. Steak was not very well seasoned alone, and chimichurri sauce was clearly not super fresh and had inch long pieces of onion. Parmesan truffle fries tasted pretty good but some were still cold/hard in the middle. Crab cakes: pretty good ratio of crab and flavor and sauce was decent. Mac and Cheese kids meal: nothing special but got the job done. Burger: I did not order one but got one in my takeout bag. Haha not complaining about that (hopefully someone else wasn't missing one?) and I liked it better than my steak overall. Unfortunately though one side was about a quarter inch thick and well done and one side was half an inch thick and pink in the middle. If this was $20 an entree and/or a diner setting I would say average. But for over $30 each it was pretty disappointing. Maybe in house is better than takeout but doesn't seem worth finding out.

It was not bad but not great either. High lunch prices and moderately slow service. Food was good though.

Food was good, waitress was the worst. Took 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us to be seated. Once seated I had asked before could I have a high chair, never brought me one, got up and went and got my own. Took forever to get our drinks and refills and same waitress brought us our food but never brought us silver ware, asked her for it and still never got it.... ended up having to go get our own silverware. To top it all off gratuity was already added so.no wonder she was lazy she didn't have to work for it!
