Sandwich was okay, but very very small portion sizes for the price.

just stick to the TIA on the corner. The staff member at the front counter spent several minutes complaining to their colleague (in front of us) before helping us and there were several items out of stock. The sandwiches we got were still made with the same quality ingredients as the one on the corner, but both had some of the toppings either a little wrong or something was left off. The same staff member was also audibly agitated at another coworker and we could hear them talk bad about the other coworker. Maybe the staff had a bad day, I'm not sure, but there are better options at the dairy market with far better service.

We ate at the Woodfired Pizza. I am vegan and gluten free and they made an amazing pizza. There are a lot of options at the Market and something for everyone. We were even able to get a glass a wine with our meal. People are lucky to be so close to this place!

Don't be fooled by the name..... this is an upscale food court with lots of options..... during the brief period we were in Charlottesville we actually went twice. Members of our group tried Citizen Burger and The Pizza Restaurant. Both got high marks from our family.

While the bread on my turkey sandwich was excellent and there was an adequate amount of turkey, the cheese and romaine lettuce were paltry. But what got me the most was the price of the cheese and lettuce which differed from the posted sign. The sign said cheese was $.40 and lettuce was $.60 (way too high even at that price and it should have been included anyway!), yet I was charged $.60 for the cheese and $.75 for the lettuce!! When I questioned the cashier about this she said, ‘I’m only the cashier, I can’t change what what the register rings up.” I then suggested she tell her manager to change the posted sign. I would not purchase anything from Take It Away again.

This is a great food court place! We went to Basta Pasta and Moo Thru, but if we had more time in the area, we could have easily come back several more times to get food from many of the other places. There’s a wide variety of types and styles of food there. Both Basta Pasta and Moo Thru were excellent. Definitely recommended if you’re in the area!

This place is delicious, my go to spot for lunch and sometimes dinner. Not too expensive and the employees are nice.

The hot hollie is a reliable meat-forward sandwich - soft sub bread with generous servings of roast beef and turkey and cheddar. You won't go hungry choosing this but note that you'll have to add any veg - even lettuce - if you want anything other than bun, meat, and cheese. And the bacon is likely from a box. The veggie was a bit more disappointing- the bread in particular was dry and couldn't hold it all together. For any sandwich make sure yours has roasted tomato, pickled peppers and extra pickles.

My first time at the Dairy Market and after some delicious ice cream I wanted a sandwich to take back to the hotel for later. I took a while consulting with my sidekick and the Take It Away staff were friendly, patient and very helpful. I ordered the Italian, and it was FAB-ulous! The Italian bread was crunchy and chewy in all the right places. The fillings were fresh and generous and the tastes all melded together beautifully. It would have been big enough for two meals except I couldn't stop myself halfway through. I live on a neighbor island in Hawaii and if I could I would finance Take It Away to relocate here. There are no sandwich places of this quality anywhere on our island. Mahalo plenty for a wonderful dining experience!

We went here to see what was available. We could only find 2 shops but lots of places to eat. We ate at Dino’s wood fire and got the gyro which was excellent. My husband had the Buffalo chicken wrap which he really enjoyed. Fair prices, good food. The market has a lot of different food types available. Disappointed the ice cream place wasn’t open when we were there.

Great food hall with a variety of choices to meet everyone’s needs. There was a brewery, ice cream shop, chic bar with creative drinks, pizza, soul food, Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese, and Mexican food options. I recommend this place for couples, friends, solo, or a family visit.

I have personally witnessed the owner of the business disrespect the employees. I have personally witnessed the owner of this business make racist comments and display racist actions and abuse his position above employees. The owner of this business praises employees one moment but once they used there autonomy and stand up for themselves for being treated badly, they’re are harassed and lies are spread about them (I have known the employees of this business for over 10yrs and have seen them come and go and keep up with them to this day although i have never been an employee myself.) Unfortunately I will not be supporting Take it away at either location due to the consistent unprofessionalism displayed upfront and behind closed doors.
