Went to have late lunch with my family. Deco of the restaurant was nice. Perfect for my family who come to visit from Indonesia. We ordered several dishes for them to try. We had chips and queso (with chorizo), enchiladas, yucca fries, quesadillas.Parking: Plenty of free parking and paid parking options.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible.

Guacamole is $16. Don’t get me wrong, I love high end dining but does above average guac really justify this price? The food is expensive to be expensive. It is by no means bad, but it’s just the epitome of mid and over priced.

Definitely geared towards college students. Overpriced and the quality of food and drinks were lacking. Especially in correlation to the price.

Went there last night with a couple of my friends and absolutely loved the vibe until a security guard came up to my 2 friends asking if they were sisters. A second after asking we were told we had to leave because someone had “made a call and reported we were starting trouble”, mind you we’re from an hour away and know absolutely nobody in Charlottesville. We were very confused as to what happened and why we were being escorted out, and was given absolutely no explanation as to why we had to leave. The security guard Chad handled the situation very professionally, but i’m very disappointed with the management of this place.

Travelled an hour away to experience downtown Charlottesville, and this was one of our stops on the list to check out. They had a dj and a pretty full house. Me and three other people were there and upon arrival me and my sister immediately went to the bathroom while our friends waited at the bar to get us drinks. There was only one stall in use and the line for the bathroom was out the door. A customer was trying to fix/unclog the “out of order” toilet. We met back with our friends and headed to the dance floor to have a good night and not even five minutes later, security walked up to us asking if we were sisters and saying someone called the owner complaining that we were starting trouble, even though we talked and stayed to ourselves the whole time being there. Chad was very nice and apologetic and handled the situation very well and escorted us out. But there was no explanation as to why or who? We won’t ever return here and I highly recommend not wasting your money at a place where the owner treats paying customers this way over a said “phone call” and not looking into the situation before making any decisions. As stated before we’re not from the area and don’t know anyone. I do however highly recommend rapture, great service and vibes for the whole place!

We arrive at the resturant at 5:55pm and are told there is an hour wait. There is an open table set for 8 but are told it is for a reservation. Understandable as there were 5 of us and we did not have a reservation. We gave our number and went to another bar for some drinks ($65 for drinks at another bar). When we returned to the resturant about an hour latter we could not be seated because parties continued to talk at there tables after their meal, again understandable. But what was not understandable was the open table for 8 was still open. Turns out the table was for a reservation at 7. We were seated about 15 minutes later. The table for 8 which was reserved did not arrive until 7:20.So this message is to management the table for a 7pm reservation left open for an hour cost you business. We dinned and left your resturant in less than an hour and did not have drinks because we had them at another resturant. And as we waited 2 more tables were reserved for parties of 8 ( in total 6 x 4 toppers we unused for at least an hour). Several potential dinners were turned away while tables were open for reservations more than an hour out. Your business but I would say a 4 topper open for an hour cost you at least $200 and the wait staff a $40 tip. So in total this cost you $1200 income and the wait staff $240 in tips. You can easily verify by analyzing your income over a period of time and comparing income. We have recently returned to the area and have been looking for our go to resturant which is about $1200/month food/drinks/tips. And I am sad to say this resturant did not make the cut.Vegetarian options: Not many

I stopped in for a snack and a margarita. The bartender, Nick, was great! Quick with service and just a good guy overall. He recommended the Avocado Minichangas (very similar to, but better than, the southwest egg rolls at a major restaurant that will not be named)which were really yummy. The habanero mango chutney was very good for dipping (ordered extra) and wasn't hot at all for those with sensitive pallets. Was too full to order a meal after that so I had chips, salsa, queso and guac. Guacamole was not the best I have ever had, but it was good. Queso was a good flavor but a bit runny. For beverage, I had their spicy margarita that came with slices of fresh jalapeño. Ok....confession....I had two. I would recommend the spicy matlrgarita but for those that are a bit sensitive to heat, you might want to choose a different option. Atmosphere was great and festive for a chilly February day. Love the bar decor and vibe. Ofunny. Definitely recommend!
