Never ate here but have gone in a few times to shoot pool and have some beers. This is one of the few spots in Cville that has pool tables. Always had a great time and definitely will be going back. I'm not a regular here but never once had any difficulty getting service from the staff. They've all been super friendly and prompt service, even when they were slammed. If your thing is dress clothes and martinis, this might not be your cup of tea but if you like a laid back atmosphere with some great people, I would highly recommend!

The Double Horseshoe Saloon in Charlottesville is truly a delight. Stopped in while I was in town and three beers was under $12. You can’t find that good of price anywhere. The bartender was very friendly and quick to make sure you had a full beer. Finally, the mirrors were a great place to snap a quick selfie. If you’re in Charlottesville and you need an inexpensive beer, check this place out.

Wow... what a place! If you're looking for cheap drinks, karaoke, and a good time look no further. We were skeptical about coming here by the looks of the outside, but you get such an amazing dive bar experience. The pool tables are great and the staff is very friendly (unless you're making a fool of yourself) You get what you come for when you come to this place, so don't expect a valet and a coat room if you know what I mean. I would be remised if I didn't say that if you plan on coming here, have your Uber app ready because you might not want to drive home! Overall awesome dive bar with an awesome crowd. I will be stopping by on my next trip to Charlottesville.
