Am new to the area, so on my recent trip to Charlottesville I stopped in to have breakfast. What an experience! The place is charming and clean and both the hostess and the waitress were attentive and cordial. I ordered the eggs benedict, with sausage patties instead of ham. The food was delivered promptly am had a wonderful presentation. The order did have ham instead of sausage, as I had asked for, but it was DELICIOUS. The hollandaise sauce more than made up for the mistake and the owner/manager apologized for the mistake. Will be back again!

This restaurant is a staple in Charlottesville. It has a small town feel and is UVA themed. It's always packed on weekends. there was a 20 minute wait, not too bad for such a popular place. The service was prompt, attentive and friendly. The food was pretty good. The portions are large and the prices are very reasonable. I had a waffle with fresh strawberries, hash brown potatoes, and bacon, my hubby had French toast, hash brown potatoes and cheese eggs. The coffee had free refills. The food was pretty tasty diner style food. I like to come here when I'm in the mood for good breakfast food. Of course they sell more than just breakfast here. Thumbs up!

On 4/24/24, my sister in law and I went out to have breakfast and why did I discover that they charge me somebody else order on my car. when I called to correct it they talking about i was actually paying cheaper than what my bill is suppose to be. Food was no good and I was not happy at all about being charged someone else bill

A friend of mine's parents took us to this restaurant in the 90's when it was in a different location. Luckily, the food is still great, prices are very reasonable, and the service is fantastic. A lot of locals still come here, and I can see why. The French toast is awesome...fluffy and flavorful. Both of us got The Wahoo breakfast plate. Everything was great. I plan on trying one of the sandwiches next time. Be sure to stop by if you're in the area. The only challenge is traffic.Parking: You may need to park a couple of lots down the street at peak times.

Great little diner right by UVA. Visited here with three kids and three adults. The kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes, adults loved the sandwiches. Breakfast served all day + great prices + excellent service = huge win and a must pick. Stop here on your next visit to Charlottesville, and you should be disappointed if you like diners.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids options, although we didn't get a kids menu. The wait staff was really proactive and helpful. Brought kids food right out when ready, drinks were quickly served, etc.
