This is a **HIDDEN GEM** in C-Ville! Excellent BBQ, brisket burnt ends, roasted chicken, and pulled pork. All sides are made from scratch (no Jiffy cornbread here!). Highly recommend stopping in! “To go” orders have a nice flow… pick up your order and exit out the side so you don’t have to weave through incoming customers. Easy, free parking, too. You’ll know you’re close when you smell the smoke!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is accessible including a ramp in front of the front door.

Please for the love of all that tastes good, do not believe the good reviews. This is easily the worst barbecue I’ve ever had in my life. The chicken looked like a mud cake and tasted like old fry oil. Whoever is responsible for the Mac and cheese recipe is definitely banned from bringing food for thanksgiving. The coleslaw was dry and flavorless. The sauces were easily upstaged by literally anything by Sweet Baby Ray’s. The brisket was the only thing that was edible. Huge disappointment. My friends’ cat literally took one sniff of it and ran away and she never lets us eat in peace! I rarely write reviews but this was just so disrespectful to my tastebuds and wallet.

I was visiting from out of town, and looking for some local BBQ (not a chain). I was not disappointed when I ordered a small plate of BBQ pork, mac & cheese, and collard greens with jalapeño sauce. love that the smoker was right outside, wonderful owners, and staff! Hear that they have live music starting soon.

I was finally able to visit Vision BBQ's expansion and boy was I impressed. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, the bar looks to be a place I could sit for hours, and the staff always welcoming and very helpful! I tried the wings today and have discovered Charlotteville's hidden gem for the BEST Chicken wings around. I highly recommend you get over to Vision BBQ!
Burnt ends were BURNT and not in a good way. Macaroni and Cheese tasted like Kraft. Waited a ridiculous amount of time for not so stellar food. Definitely will not be back.
