Where to start... crab Rangoon was greasy and undercooked. The pork egg roll was doughy and undercooked. The boneless spare ribs were tough and chewy. The fried rice was good. Not likely to order from here again.

I don't know if it changed recently or how long ago the ownership has changed, but the food has definitely changed. The quality is not the same. I moved from Chesapeake to Virginia Beach some years back so I didn't get there as often as I would when I lived in Chesapeake. However, I would take trips just to go get the egg foo young because they had the best around I've given this new ownership I guess three chances but it does not taste the same as it was when the previous owners were there. Each time I've been there I'm looking for the old owners so that I could say hi. We even remember when they had their last child and when our 1st daughter was born the wife used to always ask, was she part Chinese or did she have a Chinese mix in her. She even gave my daughter a dress from China because she thought she was part Chinese. Our daughter is now going on 16yrs old, so that is how long we've been eating there. It was so disappointing getting one of my usuals,fried chicken wings and rice with the egg foo young gravy and it tasted horrible to say the least. So I will not be patronizing them anymore unless the old ownership comes back. Please let me know if any other old-time customers have noticed a change. The quality is just not the same.

We ordered the sesame chicken and pork fried rice combo and spent $26. The chicken and rice had a fish taste and smell to it, we got sick from the food! Not one individual experienced this but two. The only good thing here were the canned soda drinks. We will not be coming back and try Zekes next door to it. Learn how to take feedback and have good customer service as clearly you CAN’T. Also, if you read the review carefully @owner, I said the only good thing here are the canned drinks, thus we bought it with the two combos! Two combos and two drinks are roughly $26. Your response displayed shows your lack of professionalism for future customers, so good on you. Carry on and stay blessed! Photo shows food in trash both combos in there!

I was looking for a Chinese spot that'd be open past 9 PM on a Sunday and that lead me to China 1. My food was nice and hot and the wings were extra crispy. I ordered pickup and food was done within 10 minutes. The man who took my order was friendly.
Got the Shrimp and broccoli and it was cooked to perfection! Huge and many shrimp. SO good!

Came here one night for a quick bite to eat. We ordered the teriyaki chicken sticks, shrimp fried rice and crab Rangoon. Crab Rangoon was amazing. This place has the best tasting Rangoon out of all of the Chinese restaurants I've tried. Very tasty and sweet. Sooo good. The teriyaki sticks were amazing too. Again, one of the best I've had! Where they dropped the ball was the fried rice. We asked for no onion but I guess that meant to them, no nothing. Because what we recieved was some very plain fried rice. Literally nothing in it. I've been a long time resident here in Chesapeake and I've eaten here numerous times.. I don't remember them ever making their rice this bland?? Regardless, it was tasty enough that we will be back. Maybe I'll ask more questions about the rice next time...
