I took my 6-y-o to celebrate her birthday (per her request) and she had soooo much fun! The games were JUST RIGHT for her age! The games were not too long, they were easy to play and understand. My 4-y-o son who was there too could manipulate the card to activate his own games and the cord attached to the card kept him from losing it. It was a big change from what I knew years ago. The only thing is that she didn't get to take pics with Chuck E. Cheese. We saw him as we entered but by the time we checked in he was gone. I could say so much more, but all in all it was awesome!Take your babies for a great time.

Monday 2/26/2024I brought my grandkids to the Chuckle cheese at Chesapeake square after school to take a load from the long day, as we entered the cashier that was standing behind the register gave us the mean look like we’re going to rob her. She spoke to us with harsh tone of voice telling us to take a picture with our kids, as we were done doing so, we approached her and she still spoke to us very mean. My oldest granddaughter has autism and she loves cotton candy, she saw the cotton candy and the counter she tried to take it and the cashier pulled it away from my granddaughter and put it back with the other cotton candy. I stared at the cashier and was thinking to myself what’s her problem? And when I asked my grandkids what would they like have, the card or the wrist bands? The cashier again spoke with very mean tone of voice. At that moment I just don’t feel welcome in that establishment. We always go there with my grandkids and this is the first time I saw the cashier. As a veteran and still serving, I decided to tell my grandkids that we were not welcome there and we’re going to another chuckle cheese. As we walked out the cashier said, are you guys going to the one in Hampton? I had enough of her mean attitude and I wait for my grandkids to step outside then I went back to the cashier and address her behavior and attitude towards customers. I told her that she’s so mean and has bad attitude to be working there especially where the kids go and have fun. I asked her who’s the manager and she said she’s the manager but her voice changed and was calm. I straight up told her that she was not qualified to be a manager and she needs to clock out and go home. After I addressed my concerns I walked out and left.

Didn't try the food and we had loads of fun with the video games.Now you can just straight by time and play whatever for as long as you paid for!
The pizza was banging but the people working there was not it. I was talking calmly to the manager and she just started yelling at me. Like I get you short staffed but you obviously booked too many parties and can’t handle the volume. Also I’m gonna say it was an older Caucasian lady and they tend to be out of pocket at young black people. I won’t throw a party there. You book parties so you don’t have to do as much but when you constantly chasing down the attendants and the host it feel like you should be getting paid to work there.

Management here was extremely rude and nasty. I had a misunderstanding with my daughter’s gaming card and how the process worked today, and rather than explaining it to me with common courtesy and dignity, this woman spoke to me like I was lower than a dog. I was accused of trying to be intentionally deceptive, and the issue was not resolved. Crew members were fantastic, food was hot and tasty… But they need to throw the whole current manager out and find a new one. One that speaks to guests with respect. That female’s attitude and problem-solving skills were below subpar. Didn’t even catch her name… that’s how tacky and dismissive she was. Won’t be back to this location.
