Our service was terrible. We were seated right next to the kitchen and the food was below average. We frequent Cracker Barrel and this was the worst experience we have ever had. I can only hope this was an isolated event as we usually enjoy a fast and decent breakfast at this restaurant.

Waitress kept asking if I wanted my check. The first time she asked me when she first brought my meal. I haven't even started eating and she asked me that. I haven't even ordered a dessert. I should have stood up and left, but I decided to leave a comment to let the manager know of this.By the waitress asking if I wanted my check, that tells me that Waitress wanted me to hurry up and leave by asking me if I wanted my check. This is very disrespectful to the customer. She had three stars on her apron. I also noticed that all the waitresses gathered together at the place where they picked up the meals and just stood there talking with one another.

Started off good, waitress was pleasant. We asked for biscuits before our meal and 2 of the 4 were black on the bottom. She never came back for us to ask for new biscuits until she brought the food. My side of fries consisted of 5 fries. Fried apples were room temp, with hardly any glaze. A few bites into my mashed potatoes & brown gravy, there was a whole slice of apple buried in them that completely ruined the taste. Mac and cheese was room temperature.I chose this location because I've heard great things about it, only to find that it is just as bad as Greenbrier.

I cannot say enough....what an awesome place !!! The food was fabulous, our server was a great guy all around and the atmosphere was perfect. Just sitting by the fireplace was great. The maple grilled cheddar chicken was phenomenal! I've lived and traveled in many states. This was way better than any other chicken dinner, at a restaurant...anywhere. Thank you! Love you guys!!!
