So I am new to Chesapeake and googled local pizza places. I came across Cristaldo’s and the reviews were really really good so I decided to try them out. First thing I noticed was they’re only open 4pm-8pm…usually a really good sign because they do so well, they don’t need to be a late night joint. Also, they only do carry out or 3rd party deliveries…another good sign. So I ordered 2 pizzas, 45 minute wait. I went to pick them up and admittedly I was about 15 minutes late so the pizzas had been sitting in the box for a bit, resulting in it being kinda soggy in the middle…totally my fault. Then I got another pepperoni pizza last night and man, it was awesome. Plenty of crisp, no flop in the pizza. Great flavor profile. I will say, perhaps a bit too much cheese for my taste but very good.I totally recommend this place. Great food at a decent price. Try them out!!!

I come here for the pizza. It's very good. They shut down their dining during covid and never reopened it. Not very friendly and don't seem to appreciate the business. But...the food is good

Ordered the Parmesan Chicken.. Chicken was tough, dry and over cooked. Dish was overall dry. Hawaiian pizza was under cooked in middle. Not impressed. Always enjoyed the food here. That unfortunately has changed for me.
We saw this place while out shopping and thought we would give it a try. The food was tasty but I ordered the margherita pizza and added pizza sauce. They fully cooked the pizza n forgot to add the sauce so instead of recooking it they just smeared pizza sauce on top of the already cooked pizza. It was cold smeared pizza sauce…

In the past, I’ve always loved Cristaldos food , especially the pizza. The quality of the food and delivery service were always excellent. However, I just ordered a chicken Parmesan dinner. The delivery service was prompt, but the food was terrible. The chicken was stringy, tough and overcooked, as was the spaghetti. The roll was gummy, not the crusty Italian bread I was expecting. I hate to give out bad reviews, because I know these are hard times , but unless the quality of the food improves, I won’t be ordering from here again.
