I visited Dexter at his restaurant today for the 1st time and the food and warm welcoming service was exceptional! Well seasoned, authentic Caribbean cuisine. The roti and curry chicken was delicious! Also had roti and curry goat, he definitely delivered flavor on all levels! The cabbage and greens was fresh and tasty as well! My family and I will definitely be back for more of his mouth watering cuisine. This is my new spot in VA! Truly the Best Caribbean food I have tasted! Dexter, thank you for sharing you love for cooking by delivering true Caribbean flavor in Virginia. See you soon!

Best Jamaican food in the 757 hands down!!! ???? If you haven’t tried this spot you need to go right Nowwwww! I don’t like to eat alot of pork but that Jerk pork is like crack in the 80s! ??
Everytime I come into this establishment it's the same lady eating behind the food station!! I shouldn't come into this restaurant watch somebody eat in front of me instead of serving customers and help out the cashier. this is a terrible establishment they don't give people their $$$ worth I'm always getting small portions of food when I order a large. the ladies behind the counter are nasty and rude. They always being stingy with extra sauce make us pay for extra sauce when they don't get enough when as for it over my food. I also shouldn't receive 4 oxtails in a large order that should be a small. Terrible customers service. Stingy with the portions of food. Never eating here again!

Man that food was the best I've had in VA. The jerk pork was amazing. The Mac and cheese was delicious. And the stew chicken never made it home. Definitely going back.

This place is a hidden GEM! The people here are super friendly, and the Jamaican food here is the most genuine I have found in the Norfolk, VA Beach, and Chesapeake area combined. The Ox tails here are priced exceptionally well for the amount of food you get. I actually save money if I want to eat Ox tails. The Curry Goat is also phenomenal! I can't believe I don't hear more about this place. Spread the word!

An absolutely amazing place. The food is some of the best I have ever had and the spices are a must try. I picked up an order for me and my boss. We are constantly told how great the food is. I spilled some of it and felt incredibly stupid but there was an astoundingly nice woman who fixed up the order for us. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, especially if you enjoy spicy food. Try the oxtail special or the jerk chicken special as that is what we got and I cant thank them enough for the delicious food and great service!!
