Kung Pao Chicken with fried rice. Excellent. Take out only. Wait was 15-20 minutes. $8.??+ tip. You pay just as much for fast food, only this is better for you with more menu options. I'm stuffed!

I do not say it lightly that this is by far the best chinese takeout restaurant in Portsmouth. They are extremely polite as well. I've got to say first, I am not someone who typically likes egg rolls but they were surprisingly good, texture and flavor were both good, I'll have to try with sauce next time! The orange chicken was delicious with a good blend of flavors that give it a dynamic taste, the chicken was not spongy or overcooked. Broccoli is something that alot of places can't make to save there lives, but this place it was perfectly cooked, the white rice was not hard or over cooked. None of the food tastes or smells like chemicals like others in portsmouth, both rated 3.2 stars on google.This place I will have to give an 8/10While not the best chinese place ive had, that was in Washington, d.c. it is more than worth the price. Wow. Just Wow! Okay, we are admittedly Chinese food snobs and we rarely agree with the reviews online but this place is sincerely FANTASTIC! Lovely, flavorful sauces; just what you'd expect in a 5-star restaurant, tons of fresh, beautiful veggies and truly YUMMY! Kids loved their dishes (lo-mein & sesame chicken) , and parents loved theirs (chicken in spicy garlic sauce). Rich, flavorful and full of lots of fresh veg. This is one of the BESTCchinese meals I've had in a long time! Surprising gem hidden in a small strip mall - you have GOT to try this place!

I ordered house fried rice and fried chicken. Picked up my order on my lunch got home and it was plain fried rice. They charge $9 and change supposedly for plain rice and chicken. That is ridiculous and extremely overpriced not to mention they got my order wrong. House fried rice and plain fried rice sounds nothing alike. Not to mention no apology or any offer to correct my order. Highly disappointed and would not recommend.

Food is always good, prices are cheap, my food is always hot and they give me enough that i can eat seconds. Plus it's right down the street from me so it's very convenient. Only thing i would say i don't care for is there isn't anywhere to dine in. But I'll get over it! You totally should try here if you haven't yet.
