I struggled to find good macarons in the area and this place was recommended by the Hampton Roads Group by several people. The place is small but well worth the drive! We loved the macarons and the brown butter cookies! We will definitely be back soon!

Maroons and oatmeal pie cookie we got were very good! We came back the next day to get more maroons as they are only open specific days. We will definitely be back. Also, customer service is excellent. They are very friendly.

We seem to always end up here every Saturday. The employees are always so nice and patient. The store is a cute small store, it is clean and quiet. The parking/location could be a bit better, but it is a small business and that can come with time. They always have different menu items every week from crumble bars, cakes, cookies, macarons, scones, and more. They will have different seasonal flavors too, and their items can usually be found on their instagram if you want to know before driving out. Everything is fairly priced and they do offer military discount. We have also ordered a cake from them before and the espresso filling was amazing.

Their pastries are amazing. My wife has Celiacs (gluten allergy). We've had their gf desserts & she's had no issues. Spread the word!

This is the second year in a row I have ordered a birthday cake for myself from Heather at House of Marmalade. She is friendly, professional, and both cakes have been stunning as well as delicious.

Beautiful welcoming store . You know you are walking into pastry heaven when the sweet smelling air wraps your in a celestial hug just before you enter the pretty store . That feeling stays with you well after the first scrumptious bite of the chocolate scone! Quality is superb , flavor aplenty , lots to choose from !

They are only open on Saturday and you better get there early. It’s a very tiny little space but I promise that it’s worth getting up and going there. The blueberry scones are amazing. They aren’t too sweet and you can smell them through the door. It doesn’t get any fresher than fresh out of the oven. Don’t like blueberries? There are plenty of other things to satisfy your sweet tooth. Stop by. You won’t be disappointed!

Update: This baker makes the most magical delights. Honestly I cannot praise this place enough. Just makes me feel fancy while I drink my oolong tea. This baker/owner is just talented.

Bakery has delicious macarons. I also visited for a pup-cake which was tolerated well by my dog (limited on certain Saturdays). Wish they were open more than just Saturday but overall, highly recommended!

Oh, Lady Marmalade, how I love thee... let me count the treats ... is that how it goes? LOLThis cute little bakery opened up at the beginning of Summer last year. I have been one of their BIGGEST fans ever since. My kids and I go there almost weekly. I have been slacking as of late, but I do notice that I miss it when we don't visit. When you walk in, you are immediately transported to a "little shop in England" (with my best English accent). It's a really tight space, but every inch of it is beautifully decorated (even look down by the door when you open it. You'll find a little thing painted on the wall, you'll see). First thing to note is this bakery is only open on Saturdays to the public. They do a lot of wholesale orders for a number of local businesses around the area. I believe, if you make custom orders, different times can be arranged for pick up according to your needs. These are some of our faves:- Millionaire bar - do not sleep on these. Shortbread layer at the bottom, light caramel middle layer, topped with chocolate ganache and edible star sprinkles. I know that they know they have a winner with this one, because this has been one of their consistent items, offered weekly. Or else, I think there would be an uproar from the fanbase haha- Scones - They are very large! Delicious! Chocolate chip is my fave but they've had all sorts of flavors from lemon blueberry to raspberry. They love to change it up!- Rice Krispies treats - not your ordinary RK treats. They are huge and are usually mixed in with other stuff like, chocolate candies crushed macaron shells.- Cookies - proper cookies, like big cookies with thickness to them. I have probably had them all:+The double chocolate orange cookie, topped with the Terry's chocolate orange slices. + Chocolate chip cookies - YUM. Just classic.+ Brown butter chocolate chip cookies - one of my all time fave. What's slightly better than a classic chocolate chip cookie? Add brown butter to it+ Sometimes they have specialty cookies according to the season (Easter chocolate mixed in) + Sugar cookies - usually beautifully iced with sprinkles+ Shortbread cookies - We had a bunny shaped one around Easter, 2 cookies with a jam spread in the middle and the top bunny had a heart shape cut out of it+ Oatmeal cookie cream sammies - It's a sophisticated version of the Little Debbie cookies (dunno, never had a Little Debbie, but my BIL goes crazy over these and that's how he describes them)Macarons - Flavors change weekly. Sold individually or in half dozen sleeve boxes. Also, they have the bigger macs. All delicious!Brownies - all different flavors, from Biscoff blondies, bourbon pecan, chocolate cheesecake. All amazing. Victoria sponge cake - Sometimes they have big one and sometimes they have cupcake size. A vanilla sponge cake with cream and jam in the middle, topped with powdered sugar. Not overly sweet. Just perfect.Cupcakes - I ordered red velvet cupcakes for my oldest's birthday last year and she was in LOVE. Refer to all my pics for all of the items I have had here, but that's basically everything! If they've had it, I've had it! LOLTips:- Go early. Their Royal fans are dedicated patrons and they snatch things up quick (ahem, *touching my nose* NOT IT! - but yes, #1 Fan)- They offer a "Royal Guard" discount for all military- They also do GORGEOUS custom cakes- Look out for holidays, because they go all ham and come out with special treats! If you have a sweet tooth, go here. If you have a special occasion coming up, go here (but call ahead). If you are basically a breathing human, go here! It's one of my fave bakeries in the area! Stay safe, Friends!
