The only “good” asian restaurant in and around the Virginia Beach/Norfolk area! The Asian food scene in VA is worthless. The owners are to busy catering to the needs and ignorance of the masses while profiting; at the same time, discrediting the history and taste of their/another culture.***Little changes in food is fine. I’m referring to ordering pho in a Chinese restaurant and receiving a water down Chinese soup because they don’t know how to make it! But it’s an item that is selling in the local area so why not put it on the menu?***The locals are no better! If someone reviews a location as “authentic” please stay far away from that location! The louse used term “authentic”; when it comes to Asian food in VA, I learned the hard way, means the cook put enough soy sauce in the food and by “enough” I mean more then needed!!This place gets a 3 star and being that it’s a location in VA I had to add 2 due to the lack of decent Asian food and competition. Sorry but when Panda Express is the Best representative of Asian food and culture in your city: as a local, you should be ashamed!Your safe for now, if there is a “MOMO Kitchen” near you!

As many times as I drove past this place, I could smack myself of not going sooner. Goodness, this place is beyond amazing and I am beyond pleased! I ordered online, so I wanted a quick get-in & out. The man who waited on me was so nice and pleasant, and has a great personality. The restaurant is clean with colorful artwork which catches your attention. And of course the food...these fried chicken dumplings with sesame sauce is tasty! I love how you can choose your level of spice in your dish. As close I work to here, this will be one of my new favorites!

Went in for a carry out order, was immediately greeted with a smile and handed my food. In and out in less than a minute. The place was clean and inviting. The food was delicious! My only critique would be with the online ordering system is to include that the chocolate momos include tree nuts, luckily someone else was able to enjoy them for me though and said they were delicious! We will definitely be returning!

I got myself their steamed dumplings (medium spice w/ sesame sauce) and their steamed (and then) pan fried dumplings (Kothey Momo dumplings-- medium spice w/ cilantro sauce) and could not have asked for a better experience. As an Asian American who grew up making my own Chinese dumplings while growing up, these dumplings put up one of the strongest fights against my Grandmas best of the best batches. The receptionist was a very friendly gentleman who was very warm-toned and friendly. It definitely made coming to a new restaurant more welcoming and comfortable. As for the ambiance of the restaurant, it is a very calming and easy on the eyes atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who scrolls past this on Yelp, I will definitely be supporting this business with more visits and bringing my friends along.

Absolutely delicious! I got the noodle soup with chicken medium spice, and it was soooooo good! Even though I am a wimp when it comes to spicy, I still managed to eat almost all of it while I was sniffing and tearing up and losing my voice. The person working (not sure if it was the owner) even offered to make me a less spicy version when he came to check on us, but I said no because I know I'm a wimp and I loved it (we even got one to go for later). Also, I had picked out the white onions, and he offered to bring me one without white onions! Extremely nice man! The person I was with ordered the chili mo mo dumplings, and he enjoyed that a lot. He also ordered the banana dessert, which was good, but *I* ordered the mango ice cream, which was PHENOMENAL!!!!!! (OK, I'm from Tampa, so I'm very used to mango and am biased, but I promise you, this was a wonderful dessert) The food and service were outstanding, and I will be back!

We just tried MOMO Kitchen for the first time for lunch and are SO happy we stopped in. We got the steamed chicken momo with sesame sauce, the Manchurian chicken momo, hot wings, and chicken friend rice. Everything was delicious!! You can pick your spice level- steamed momos were medium, everything else we got were hot. The wings were so flavorful, but that heat creeps up on you so be advised! For dessert we got their chocolate momo which was also amazing. Even with it being a 30 min drive for me, 10/10 recommend this spot!
