Extremely disappointed with Papa John's recent change in approach. The increasing tendency to charge for every little addition, including basic cheese packets, reflects a troubling shift towards stinginess and nickel-and-diming that has severely impacted the overall experience. This unexpected and unwelcome change in pricing and policy has greatly diminished the value and satisfaction we once associated with Papa John's. Sadly, this once-beloved pizzeria's approach to customer service and fair pricing falls far short of expectations. One star for the disappointing transformation.

The pizza is always good. However, I placed an order online and received a time window when it would be ready. Let's say 2:33p-2:43p. I got there at 2:44p and it hadn't been started yet so I had to wait another 10 minutes. No big deal if you're not in a rush

I ordered an extra large pizza and a 10 pc. Buffalo wings. The pizza was delivered, but there were no wings. When I opened the pizza box, there was a garlic sauce container ALREADY OPENED and soaked into half of the pizza. I called the store and was told that they tried to call about the wings (they didn't) and that "the steam from the pizza opens the seal on the garlic tub sometimes, and it spills out." Honesty, the pizza wasn't very good, and the lack of concern by the management was frustrating.I won't waste my money here again.

Order my pizza and wings at 6:50 PM. It is now 8:30 PM and I have yet to receive any food that I’ve already paid for from Papa John’s which is literally less than five minutes away from my home. this will be definitely my last time at the one on Western branch Boulevard in Chesapeake Virginia.

Ordered online. Specified a time. Got my food 3 hours before I requested. Stuck with cold for for a party unless I want to spend another expensive $168 for 5 pizzas. Talked to the manager. They were unwilling to rectify the situation and were very smug an arrogant. I will not order from this location again. Go to little Caesars, Pizza Hut, Sal's, or Spaghetti Eddie's. I recommend any other pizza joint but this one!

I had Papa John pizza many times before. This location in Churchland/Western Branch Blvd is the worst. Pizza was not good, and very very salty. Called to location for support and the guy Kyle was clueless and not helpful. Asked to speak with manager, although he spoke pleasant, he was not helpful at all. I will not be returning.

I could see on the tracker that the driver was at the wrong address, so I call the store to tell them so they can contact the driver and get my pizza to the correct address. The person that answeres the phone was not believing me and kept saying the driver IS at my house! I kept repeating myself and he kept saying she is there in your driveway right now ma'am! Then a call came in on my phone and I joined the calls so the store could hear what I had to tell the driver that she was NOT in my driveway and that MY address was a 1/2 mile further down the same road. She says no ma'am I am in your driveway right now ( the abandoned house that she was at was in Portsmouth, MY house is in Chesapeake ?) so again I repeat myself and then tell her to just turn left out of the driveway she was in and drive about a 1/2 mile down and look for my street number. Sure enough I see her drive on by my house ? I turned my porch light off and on hoping to get her attention and I guess it worked because she turned around and stopped at the end of my driveway and walked to my front door. No apologies or anything from the driver or the store, but I give her a $15.00 tip anyways just because ... But after opening the pizza boxes and realizing everything was cold and not cooked as ordered and in fact was not cooked thoroughly! This was very disappointing even more so as it was dinner for my husband's birthday! The pizza box was even dirty ? then my husband sees that the order was $65.bucks and says wow that's crazy ? I say what?? The total was $51 When I placed the order. ?Apparently they put a tip on the order even after I declined to tip when I placed it because I knew I would be tipping the driver in cash! Grrrrr. Done with Poppa Johns for good this time! ?

We order from this location muliple times a month. Fast delivery, great food, and the order is never wrong. Delivery service is also nice!
Pre-ordered delivery for a single pizza, papadilla, and bites to be delivered at 6pm. Order was placed and confirmed before 4pm. Ordered delivery thru ap. I haven't gotten pizza from here in a while so decided to order. It was the worst I've ever had! It was good temp and came pretty quick, however, paying $30 for a med pizza, ud think it wldve had decent amount of toppings on it. There was good amt of cheese, but I also asked for italian sausage and mushrooms and pineapple on half. There MAY have been a dozen small pieces of sausage and a few mushrooms n we counted 7 tiny pieces of pineapple. I know they're not hurting for money and am VERY pissed that the pizza we got had less than a handful of toppings in all. I will not be ordering from here again! It wld be nice if a Mgr would see this and call to fix this, but we all know that's not gonna happen. Never again!

I’ve had two bad experiences with this restaurant. The first one was a couple of months ago, the pizza was good, but the brownie was hard as a rock, and the delivery driver was rude. I called the store, and talked to the manager Tim. He said that he will give me a credit for the brownie, and he refunded me my tip that I gave the driver. I told him thank you, and he said I could you the credit at anytime. Tonight, I decided to use the credit, the kid that answered the phone was a rude because I asked to use my credit. He was laughing thinking it was a joke, very immature. However, I asked for the manager, and Rachel answered the phone I explained to her the situation, and she gave me the brownie. I ordered a half(cheese) and half(the works) pizza with extra sauce- there wasn’t any. The pizza only had two pieces of the works and the rest cheese. The brownie was soft. I work hard for my money, and I will not come back to this Papa John’s. I hope this restaurant get workers who are professional, and mature.
