Went here for my 50th Birthday just to choke on flounder bones. The fried shrimp was just plain breading no seasoning, my son ordered the same thing flounder and shrimp. The waitress kept saying she'd worked there 7 months like ok was she saying we brought the bones in with us? She said I was gonna have to pay for the flounder. I refuse to pay for something we can't eat. I told her I'd swap for a crab cake she said no. We asked to speak to a manager a cook came over I explained I'd pay for the shrimp we ate but not the flounder he said well sometimes fish have bones. Ok this was suppose to be bone out flounder I showed him the were an inch long and very hard and sharp. They took about 5.00 off each plate and I left hungry ?

My waitress, Peyton, was delightful! She was kind, attentive, and knew just what we needed! She had the ginger ale syrup freshly replaced for us. Would definitely come back!!

Very delightful and experience! The bartender who made my Old Fashion, crushed it! Our waitress was very good at her job and very knowledgeable when it came to the menu and what others offered.

Was disappointed our food (fish) wasn't seasoned at all. Food was very plain. The hushpippies with our meal was not fully cooked. Green beans was the only good part of my meal sad to say. Service was good tho. Most likely won't be returning.

Came here for a large birthday party. Customer service was great and well organized to ensure everyone got what they needed. Food was served promptly and rather good.Facility was a bit small for this party size, 3 large tables. Bathrooms were not clean and paper towels or hand dryers were lacking.

The manager and staff are very nasty and rude. We had a birthday dinner there and the servers had an attitude the entire time and then the manager came and told us that we had gone over our allotted 2 hrs and asked us to leave because we were loud….we weren’t any louder then the other parties that were going on and the manager came to our table and told a corny joke that we all laughed at to make him feel good….that was the loudest we got laughing at his joke. When I confronted the manager to share my concerns about the servers rudeness and the fact they asked us to leave that’s when he said he told them to tell us to leave because we had been there for 2 hours and it was time for us to leave, granted we had a party there last year with more people and we stayed much longer and no one gave us any issues. When we made the reservation we were not told that we only had 2 hours….majority of the party guest were between the ages of 50-80….how loud do you think we really were???

We came all the way from Nova Scotia, Canada and it was our first restaurant in Virginia. The food and service was absolutely outstanding. I had the sailors Surf N Turf and it was delicious. The portions are huge, barely put a dent in it. It's the best food for dollar a person could ask for. Betsy our bartender was such a joy to talk to. Very friendly, funny and excellent recommendations, we honestly felt right at home. Don't change a thing, this place is the real deal!!Ray Pitre

The food is spectacular, and the portions are very large. I guarantee you'll be satisfied with the portion sizes, they're kinda crazy, you'll probably have leftovers. A lot of the meals are big enough to split. I had the 12oz prime rib, which was delicious comes with two sides and texas toast. They also have something for everyone, they have seafood, steak, wings, all the fried stuff you could want (seafood included). They also have good drinks. And with all this the prices are very fair, it's not cheap but its very reasonable for what you get. That 12oz prime rib was $27 I think. Delicious, fairly priced and plenty of food, I'll be coming back.

She crab soup was absolutely awesome. So much so that I ordered a large serving to take home. We also had the special. Fish&chips. The plates were so large that we could've shared one plate. Needless to say we had plenty left over.
