It was nice that they provided a place to sit while waiting for our food to be prepared. Would have rated service 5 stars but ordered fried okra as a side and got French fries instead.

Grateful Pollards was able to put a 30 count chicken serving together last minute, when other plans fell through. My guests enjoyed it!

Stop by last night on my way home from a doctors visit for dinner. Decided to have a chicken gizzards. Had to wait a bite but that’s ok. The first bite didn’t taste right so I cut one of the gizzards on my plate open, to find out it was raw. I asked for my money back and they’ll never see me again. For a place that’s suppose to have great chicken, I was not impressed.

I like this establishment. It's clean, the staff was very pleasant, and the chicken was really tasty. You can takeout or eat-in. The restaurant is located in a shopping mall with ample parking. Their specialty is chicken however, they have an extensive menu that I hope to further indulge. I found their prices to be more than fair for the quanty of food you get with your order. I got their chicken, which i found to be moist and tender and fried to perfection. You can purchase the chicken as a meal or individual pieces. I also got an order of their baked beans which you can oreder in small, medium, or large containers. All in all I found Pollard's to be a pleasant experience and plan on visiting again.

The food good as to be expected. The kitchen not so clean, however nothing was nastier than the managers attitude. She completely belittled a brand new associate in front of customers. She had a horrible attitude while explaining policy, it was absolutely cringing to watch her work. She has faux locs, wears gold trimmed glasses and an attitude from hell. BE AWARE!

This place is so much better and cleaner than the one we have in Norfolk. My kids love the gizzards from Pollard. They're good.

My husband and I ordered a two breast meal and a chicken tender meal online went and picked it up and ate it in the car in the parking lot and let me tell you this was the best food we have ever gotten from there. The grease was clean the chicken was juicy you could literally see the juice dripping out of the chicken. The fried okra is the best around here in my opinion. Run don't walk and get you some Pollard's right now.

Flies flies everywhere I thought it was just that one time but I've been back two other times and there are still flies in that place that's nasty to me. I will come back if you get rid of the flies. Thank

Ordered fish and onion rings. The fish was 1 piece flounder...1 piece. The price online was $3.99, paid $9.75 Got 2 whole onion rings. The rest were chopped and burned. The cost .99. When I received the bill, it was $10.74 minus tax. Plan to take bill in to discuss.

We ordered an 8 piece dinner with corn on the cob and french fries. We got a total of 16 fries for 4 people and that's not acceptable! Also the corn are small and were dry and over cooked. I spent $32.00 plus tax and was ripped off.

Went for dinner for a pickup at the tail end of the dinner rush. Chicken was not bad, but I can honestly say I've had better. Macaroni was like Stouffers, and the green beans were canned and lightly seasoned. Cant say anything about the muffins because they forgot them. Biggest issue though was the service. The 2 people working the front were awful. They guy with long hair had a "I don't care" attitude about pretty much everything, and the girl though not as bad was just kind of short with people. The thing that got me was whenever customers would call she wouldn't take the phone orders even if she wasn't doing anything and the guy was busy. She would say please hold and then put the phone down and stand at the register and talk about going on break and having to work the weekend. I get it, no ones goes to work and 100% all the time every time, but the manager should try and sort that stuff out because if they front of house doesn't care then how should we think of the back of house or management. All in all, fix the service and maybe spruce up the sides and it would be an astronomically better experience.

I have eaten at Pollards for years and never had any real issues. Well today was the exception and it really wasn't the food. I kid you not but there were a thousand flies in there. I said something about it but it was kind of shrugged off and I did even ask if there was a dead body in there. This is frickin Unacceptable. There were 3 employees in there. If they can't get off their lazy butts then maybe they need to find other jobs. I couldn't even sit on the dining room side and had to quickly get a to go box. I don't even want to imagine what the kitchen was like. It only takes a few people to ruin a company's reputation.Clean up or close the doors for good.
