Just a FYI: You are paying 20% extra: for to go order there is a 10% service fee on top of a 10% to go fee. You will also be given an option on the receipt to leave a tip on top of that. Basically: You are paying 20% or more for zero service and for a to go order. Food is good. Staff is nice.

My wife and I enjoy going to Waffle House on Sundays before we go grocery shopping. Unfortunately the last few weeks at this location have been less than ideal. The staff seem pre occupied with gossiping and carrying on with each other and their phones over serving the customers. Not to mention when you have a full house and a line out the door stop taking pick up orders and serving them them first. I guess we’ll just have to change to the western branch location and see if they’re any better.

Who can get a breakfast sandwich wrong, my hubby went to this location & ordered to Texas toast sausage,egg & cheese sandwiches to go,.get home & the the bread was black burned on both sandwiches so was yal running out of bread & couldn't throw the burned bread away? And yal know they got there phone fixed where you can't call to let them know how unacceptable this was on this morning March 4th 2024

I’ve been visiting this location off and on years, since Covid the service has been going down. Food is the same, cooks are the same and get your food out as they normally would. The problem is the waiters that spend time BSing and not attending to tables. For a restaurant that has a goal of seating to service to check is 20-25 minutes they are far behind. We seated and waited 5 minutes to order drinks, we were ready to order food too but she couldn’t be bothered with that. Drinks delivered then she walked away without taking our order. When it was said and done about 45 minutes. The couple that sat down at the same time we did (at a dirty table), different waitress, waited to order drinks until we had ordered our food so 10-15 minutes. We were done eating before they even ordered food. Just terrible service. I’m sure I’ll be back but not anytime soon. Counter was dirty and with dishes and cups from customers long gone.

First time at a Waffle House for me. Was very satisfied with the food and the staff was friendly. The thing that I especially liked was the prices. Not many restaurants include the taxes in their prices, and even with the taxes included, they are extremely reasonable.

I walked in and sat in the seat at the counter closest to the register a little after 11am on a Saturday. Half of the tables were occupied and the other half were covered in dirty dishes. After 10 minutes of various servers making eye contact but otherwise ignoring me, the order caller told a gentleman at a table that came in after me that he would be waited on shortly. I asked “What about me?” And the order caller pointed out the gentleman that would be waiting on me, then cleaned the counter, gave me silverware and apologized for not noticing that I needed to order. The waiter she pointed out proceeded to ring up another customer and then informed me that he would be helping the customer that came in 5 minutes after me first. I told him that wasn’t necessary and got up and left and went to Cracker Barrel where I was immediately greeted, seated, and promptly had my order taken.

Went in for breakfast and it was cold and tried moving away from overhead vent, but that didn't help. Asked server if A/C was on and she said yes because the cook was hot. The temperature outside was in low 40's and I asked could the air be cut off or turned up some. Nothing was done and we had to eat with our coats and hoodies on( we were not the only ones). The food was slow arriving and was served one item at a time, and some items were cold by the time it arrived. Also, one employee named "Austin" was sitting at the counter waiting for a ride home. He continuously kept talking to the staff about all his personal problems. He was so loud talking I could not carry on a conversation at my own table. He was at one end of the counter talking to servers that were at the other end. The staff was so busy being entertained by Mr. Austin that even getting a coffee refill was difficult. Obviously, the slow service was due to all the distraction caused by Mr. Austin. Staff needs to be retrained on customer service and employee conduct. It will be a while before I consider returning to this Waffle House.
