This WAS a favorite stop for us on route to and from Florida. Tonight (Thursday) we arrived at 7:13pm. Website AND sign on the door AND the specials board, all say “open until 8:00 Thursdays”. But the door was locked at 7:13pm. The ribs special was only available on Thursdays between 5 and 8pm. Sadly we assumed that you could get in the door to order those ribs before the posted 8:00 deadline. Try the Chinese next door. It’s great!!

I had not been there recently, but remember how good their sandwiches were. I got my normal Reuben sandwich and it was outstanding! I did try a side of potato salad and it was the worst potato salad I've ever put in my mouth. I let the cashier know about it, and she was very understanding and noted that someone different was making the potato salad and understood there was too much mustard in it. I appreciate the fact that she was aware, however once you're aware; management should have taken steps to improve the quality. I continue to recommend this place for the overall quality of their sandwiches!

This is the second time I have eaten here. The food is good but the overall appearance and cleanliness of the place is pretty bad. The hanging lamps above the tables are a throwback to the 70s. The ceiling fans are absolutely filthy!! Robert Irvine from restaurant Impossible would have a field day. I prefer to support a local restaurant rather than a chain. This place just needs a serious facelift! The server was pleasant enough but she never cleared the dirty dishes when she came to check on us.

Tried to go last night and found a sign on the door saying they closed at 3 due to staffing. Ok, no problem. Went today at 2:30, people inside eating and the closed sign is out. Server answered the door and my husband said he just wanted a To go order. Guy tells him we close at 3. It's 2:30!!!! So he let's hubby in to order his to go and the mgr comes and tells him no, they took their last order, they are closed. It was literally a cold cut sandwich. And AGAIN it was 30 min before closing time. Now I see why you can't stay open. What a joke.
The one waitress that was working at lunchtime was really busy but made it look easy. The food was ok. It just wasn't my taste. Cookie cutter atmosphere. I would say it's worth a try, though.

This place has been here since I was a kid so I was really happy to see they are still open and that they still give you a bowl of pickles. Had the Reuben last time I went and the house made corned beef was very tender and juicy without being really greasy. I'll definitely be going back for more sandwiches.
