My last experience at Hooters of Chester was slightly different from previous experiences.First the good:The chocolate mousse cake was exceptional; definitely on par with the better desserts at restaurants like Cheesecake Factory Short Pump or Olive Garden. Great recommendation by the staff. My server (I ordered takeout) was cordial, attentive and willing to get my order correct.Restaurant looked clean and welcoming when I came in to pick up my order. The not so good:The 10-piece, bone-in, mild buffalo wings were not completely done. The meat was stringy and difficult to detach from the bone, which is indicative that they were not cooked long enough/ maybe rushed???-although they didn't seem that busy at the time. Now, this has never happened to me at this particular location, so I'll give them a pass, this time. The flavor was still decent and my 10-piece wings arrived with 14 pieces - so that partially atoned for the lack of complete doneness.OVERALLI still prefer Hooters wings over Buffalo Wild Wings, Wingstop, Applebee's, etcetera. And I still prefer this location compared to the Richmond Broad Street Hooters.Historically, the quality at this Chester location has been very good.

Typically, I get good service at this location. On this visit it was sub-par. The wait was extensive even though the place was 75% empty; I was not pleased with an item I ordered. Curly fries no seasoning. I was served seasoned potato particles. Maybe next trip!

Picked my girlfriend up in Gainesville, VA & headed back to Georgia looking for something to eat along the way. Stopped for gas & saw this place right across the road, so we decided to eat here. The place was fairly busy for an early Friday afternoon. We ordered our food at the same time, but one meal came out nearly 10 minutes before the other one did. Had to flag our waitress down whenever we needed something, including the check. Their card reader wouldn't take my card, so I had to walk to a gas station next door to use their ATM. Once I came back with the cash, I had to wait for the server to go get change. What we thought would be a quick stop for food turned out to be an hour & half long ordeal that wasn't entirely pleasant.

Food wasn't hot. Got cold unseasoned fries. And the sweet tea tasted like color water.

Imagine sitting in a restaurant and hearing the Elvis Presley song “In the Ghetto” playing on the Touch Tunes jukebox. Except instead of enjoying Elvis’ sad and haunting lyrics of a child born into poverty and hopelessness, you are actually living it while sitting in the Chester Hooters, watching the manager and cook roll out of a car reeking of pot, come into the restaurant with bloodshot eyes, with the manager rambling around on his cell phone while the seemingly stoned cooks with pants down to their knees and tattoos up their faces take over an hour to fix the wrong food, twice, inbetween going outside several times to take smoke breaks smoking who knows what. Hour and a half later, with still another hungry mouth to feed, we still felt In the Ghetto. It was ludicrous. We had to rollout.Bottom line, except for the servers, (God bless them for putting up with the incompetent management and kitchen staff) this Hooters sucks. Go somewhere else.

I wish I could leave zero stars, got to the bar and waited ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged me lol, two girls sitting at the bar with other patrons trying to ignore me on purpose, won’t be back. One of the girls actually was posted in a pic with another bad review lol

We were a table of 9 that waited over hour and a half for some sliders and wings. Other tables were getting food before us after arriving well after us. Our waiter was great but the manager is the only one in the kitchen cooking and has ZERO care for the shape of the restaurant. The photo attached is the "break room" where all the servers hangout (eat, vape, brush their hair and keep all their personal belongings)Bathrooms disgusting, floors everywhere sticky amd gross.

After the Hooters app said I could get a 10% discount for using their app to place a pick up order the app didn't give me a chance to honor the 10% discount. The waitress at the front had no idea why it didn't give me the option for the discount on the app. I paid full price but I would like to know if that happens to everyone ?

Great staff, decent food, incredibly blasé variety of beers. Generic taps, room temperature, and flat
