I had a pickup order the other day and the kindest associate brought my groceries out to me. His name was RJ and he had the brightest smile and actually pronounced my name correctly. He gave me my eggs through the window gently unlike when the short Mexican one brought it out previously. Rj brightened my day and I hope he's the one that brings my groceries out every time.

I use to come to this krogers.. the workers there were all nice and welcoming like I use to love coming here but now It's the worse place tbh. It has been the shittiest customer service the last few times I been there. About a month ago me and my daughter pulled up to the front of the store so I can look to see how much some flowers were, which only took like 20 sec and I'm walking back and I see this guy (I'm guessing he was a manager cause he had a buttoned up Kroger shirt on but no name tag) talking to my daughter and getting loud with her and yelling at her to move the car (mind u my daughter is only 12) so I told him not to b yelling at my daughter like that and that she wasn't old enough to drive obviously and so we left ,, and also there were two other cars that were up there too but he didn't say anything to them..Well Today was the last straw for me!! I walk into Kroger's with my little Pomeranian like I always do (he is a service dog btw) so I'm shopping, holding my dog, minding my own business then all of a sudden this guy walks up to me (and I realized it was the same guy that yelled at my daughter) and he told me (very rudely) and at first he said "he can't b in here" I said "he's my service dog, I have his papers and service id and everything" then he says "you can't hold ur dog he has to be put on a leash" but it was the way he said it and how he said it...... I have really bad diabetes so my dog can smell my breath to detect it so I'm suppose to be allowed to carry him if I need too but no that manager guy kept telling me he had to b on a leash and he started to get loud with me for no reason. I didn't even get a "hey how are you" or "hey welcome to krogers" or anything.... I had asked him for his name cause again he had no name tag. HE SAID HIS NAME WAS MARTIN.. I ain't never have any store workers or managers come up to me at any store and treat me the way he did or even say anything to me about my dog for being in the store for that matter. He was very uneducated about anything that has to do with service dogs. Technically he's not suppose to ask me if he's a service animal or anything like that. But yeah he was very rude to me he didn't greet me or anything,he was unkind, nasty, made me feel like I was unwanted there, hateful, unfriendly, and a little foul. So in order for me to post this review, I have to rate it a star, so tbh If I could give this rating "negative stars" then I would. I don't plan on coming back to that store unless there is new management cause he's a pretty shitty one. If u have a dog or any service animal I wouldn't recommend this Kroger's but all the other ones I have been to are totally very okay with my puppy matter of fact they all adore him. I usually don't write bad reviews unless it gets under my skin like the way this guy was. But NOBODY talks to me and my dog rudely with an attitude and is gonna get away with it!!

I come to this location sometimes, but I have NEVER received service like I did from JOHAN today. He was so pleasant, knowledgeable about the products, and had an amazing attitude. He really made my experience great! The store was clean and organized. The produce was amazing too! If you stop by, ask for JOHAN!!!!

We came specifically for Ukrops cupcakes. They are our fave. The parking lot was busy & so was the store traffic. I was able to easily maneuver & get what I needed with little stress. I can't stand crowds. Lol. They had 3 flavors & we got all 3. The cupcakes are always moist and delicious. The staff were friendly and we were in and out in a flash. I definitely recommend this location.

Have you seen or heard the Kroger commercials that are blasted all over TV and radio recently? They're all about the company guaranteeing freshness and touts that only the freshest, best produce is selected for each store. This store did NOT get that memo. I remember when this location first opened. It was the equivalent of Chester getting a Wegmans. The store was immaculate, the produce super fresh and the butcher counter rivaled local shops. The store is now unrecognizable. My last few trips have been extremely disappointing, but it was my most recent trip on a Friday night that sealed the deal for this being the last visit. I fully understand we're still in the middle of a pandemic, which means shipping delays and staffing shortages. I don't hold it against the company for not being able to keep the shelves stocked. However, I do expect the items that are in stock to be fresh, free of mold and not riddled with flies. The produce department was probably one of the most disgusting produce sections I have ever visited. Many of the items I needed were not available, and the products that were available were not consumable. There was a bin of jalapeno peppers that were wrinkled, smashed, moldy and swimming in a puddle of mush. It was literally gag-inducing. I moved on to the packages of grape and cherry tomatoes. Every pack I picked up produced a swarm of fruit flies and/or gnats that came flying out of the containers. There were two bundles of parsley left on the shelf, but the leaves were all brown and slimy. The worst part of this wasn't even the extreme nastiness of the products, but the fact that there were two employees hanging out in the produce department just chit-chatting. I walked past them several times and was never greeted or asked if I needed assistance. They weren't cleaning out the nasty bins, stocking the items or doing anything about the deplorable state of the produce section. I gave up on the rest of my produce list and moved to the meat section .... Again, many items on my list were out of stock, but I picked up a few packages of pork chops, a tenderloin and a pack of country ribs. Is anyone surprised to know that when I got home and opened the country ribs and the tenderloin, they were both ROTTEN?! Both had sell-by dates that were over a week away and the color of the meat looked fine. However, rotten egg/ammonia smell almost knocked me out. Not sure that the store would have known to pull these items; they easily could have been carried around in someone's cart and then put back after being stored improperly. But after this awful experience added to the last few mediocre trips to this store, I will not shop here again. Also: not a deal breaker on its own, but the parking lot here is always a complete nightmare. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because the checkout associates are always friendly. None of the employees on the floor ever speak, even when I make eye contact, but the front-end staff is always pleasant.

Bad. This is the second trip we've made this month to where we were in line for over 35 minutes. Last time it was over an hour. This time I went to the manager, Daron. After explaining why there was one checker checking out the entire store and bagging the groceries, Daron proceeded on correcting the way I said his name. The reason for the one checker according to the manager, was a short staff. I just want this to go on to record that that's what the excuse was. I hope it's true. It's very forgivable. I put a call into corporate because after today, my husband and I are no longer going to shop at the store. It started off good but ended poorly. No more melted ice cream and semi rotten meat by the time we get home after standing in those long, long lines. I won't even get into the trash in the four year or the lack of shopping carts that is a constant.

This Kroger has definitely gone down hill. It is such a disappointment to have: (1) ice cream that has obviously been melted, then refrozen; (2) sale tags on shelves that have expired; (3) no shopping carts available in the vestibule; and (4) so many pallets of goods waiting for restock in the aisles. I wish we could get a decent, and better managed, grocery store at this intersection of Rtes 10 and 301!

I was a first timer on pick-up due to the COVID 19 impact on our family. I was disappointed that my husband waited more than 25 minutes to be recognized for his delivery considering the order was placed around 3:30 that afternoon. If a service is provided then the store should prepare its employees to handle the situation. After making more than three calls to pick up the groceries, there was too much hesitancy on closing out the mission. I love Kroger but big on customer service.

The customer self -check out is a hot mess, the registers are usually out of receipt paper, the call attendant feature is useless because the store employee is either talking to another store employee or missing. Poor management and oversight

Donna C.

Do not pick up groceries from this store. I got rotten salad mix and cotton candy grapes instead of green grapes. Half of my order was missing. I will do my grocery shopping from Foodlion from now on!

Sue & Robin in the floral department saved my wedding day plans!!! I was so disappointed with another store. They were helpful, followed up & followed through. I am so thankful! Will be recommending this store, especially their floral department to other. So glad to be able to leave some positivity!

This Kroger is part of the busy Breckenridge Shopping Center in/around Chester and right off of I-95. It is moderately sized and not as big as the Krogers in Chester that are in more rural areas and thus have far more space to build. The Kroger itself is quite good in its offerings and quality of products but I found it to be a bit crowded, whether in the parking lot or in the store itself. The store just feels a bit crammed due to both the number of people this Kroger serves in its locale and in the actual layout of the store. The store also just had an antique feel to it in terms of its luster and atmosphere - it didn't feel as updated/modern as some other Krogers in/around the area or in general.

I was just at this Kroger around 2 PM and found myself in an uncomfortable situation as an Asian American. I was in aisle 8, where the asian food section is located. I was looking around for couscous when I over heard workers who were stocking that aisle say extremely ignorant things about asian people. They started by saying that people are in this aisle because they can't buy Chinese food. Then they said in a derogatory tone that it is because all of this (meaning covid-19) comes from China and that they should throw everything from China away. Another person asked about pad Thai and the other coworker replied that they believed that pad Thai was from Korea. Then another employee said that it didn't matter because they are all the same. Then one of the employees almost dropped the wasabi and his coworker said that it was good that he almost dropped it and to go ahead and break them all. This ignorant conversation came to a halt when I asked them where the couscous was, and they realized I was there the whole time. It was very unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable as a customer at this Kroger.

One of my favorite places to shop. Staff is always super friendly. Parking can be a hassle at times. It is worth the savings with your Kroger card and use your fuel points to get gas.
