Papa Johns in Hopewell is the best to me and my husband. The dough good and the wings are delicious too. I get what they call well done type of wings. The garden veggies pizza was good even with the black olives if you like them. The food taste fresh and the dough was good too, soft and chewy like I like it. The service is good, quite friendly people. Basically a call in or order in person to pickup. They do have delivery but we always pickup our orders. Try them out to see what you think. Petersburg's Papa Johns was not as good or as fresh as Hopewell. In Hopewell It looked clean, no bathroom, no area to eat in, cozy cause of music while waiting. Only one person can sit and wait. Otherwise you wait in your car.

The pizza was crappie looking. They got an attitude when I ask them to remake. They did make another one but it came out just as bad as the other one. Needless to say I just got my money back. I must say this was not my regular crew. Not a good day for them.

I ordered 2 pizzas online and my confirmation listed 2 pizzas. I received only one pizza and the delivery guy argued with me about it. He should have looked at my confirmation and called his manager.

Why can't you call the store itself? The automated service and talking to whoever where ever is not the way to have any business! If you can't answer the phone don't open the business!
This was supposed to be a “all the meats pizza” but I’m extremely disappointed I don’t think I’ll be coming back. What little bit of meat is on the pizza is all in the middle. And don’t eat me started on there new bites……

Ordered meat lover and Hawaiian. Also asked for extra pepperoncini. Pizza was on time, but totally lacked flavor. And the extra peppers? One tiny pepper was all we received.How hard is it to make a pizza? Apparently too hard for Papa John's.

I've haven't order from papa johns in a while after my last situation, but I tried to give them another chance. I order my food at 1047 and the delivery time was 34-44 minutes which even though I live right up the road from the place it was okay with me. I took exactly 65 mins for my food to be delivered. I call the store and the person who answered the phone (they didn't say their name) stated that the computer puts the delivery in as the orders come in and then she hang up the phone up and I wasn't even finished talking. I used to work for a pizza company, and I know how the delivery process works. If the employee who have just told me that the delivery driver was running late, I would have been fine. But the fact that she just hangs up in my face was just plain disrespectful. When my food did get here the driver pulled my food out and I asked to feel the box and it was cold. I simply told the driver I didn't want it. Papa John's use to be way better with food and communication. This was my last chance giving them another chance and I will not be ordering from them again.

Papa John's Pizza is one of the top pizza companies in the US .I understand things are tough with pandemic and everyone is at each other's throat .and difficult to keep up with demand during a rush.
