The food was ok, but this is not the first time I go there and the waitstaff is horrible. They don’t tell you about their specials. The wait time for the food is very long. I came back to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, service was the same and I will not be coming back again.

A great find with some good food and atmosphere. Even in a chilly day the alley is a spot less crowded. Crab nachos and crab pizza for the win. Deliciousness. Friendly staff all around.

First time visited a few days ago - ordered 3 different pizzas and a few desserts for takeout.If I was just writing about the desserts, it would be five stars. ☺️ The apple pie (it was a really thick slice, with peanut butter flavoring) was superb, as was the lemon berry cake (I could be getting the names a little off because I can’t remember exactly, but the cakes were superb) ?????But, the pizza. ? I am a pizza lover and was super excited this place had wood fired oven pizza!!! That’s why I ordered 3. ? But maybe they were having an off day, but the dough was… not good. It was somewhat gummy and very dense, as if the gluten was overworked and not allowed to rest, so if you looked at a cross section, it looked grayish/opaque and more so than the cheese. I was desperately trying to focus on the cheese and toppings to not think about the not so great tasting crust.Like I said, maybe it was an off day. Maybe I got pizza from a really bad batch of dough, an old batch or basically one that should have been passed.But the desserts were excellent. ☺️

"The Green Goddess" Wood Oven Pizza-----Fresh Pesto sauce / Goat cheese was perfectly melted / Crust with a crunch / Fresh Arugula served piping hot. Felt like Lady who made this was passionate about this pizza.Everyone Should Try once in Lifetime ! ---No Regerts :)

Ordered 4 pizzas prior to a business meeting. Was told 20-25 mins on the phone. Took 1 hour to make 2 pizzas. Had to cancel my order and missed my business meeting. Food looked good but don’t order the pizzas unless you have some time to waste.

We visited for the first time this past Saturday. Small joint but very nice inside. The manager met is right away and seated us near the back. The services and attentiveness of the staff here is impeccable. The prices are what you would expect. The left side of the menu remains constant, however the right side changes daily. I tried the prime rib sandwich. My wife tried the butternut raviolis. Both were excellent. My expectations of the sandwich were different than was was presented, but I really enjoy the "difference". It was unexpected but welcomed. We had a total of three glasses of wine between the two of us and the bill was around 75 bucks with tip. We will DEFINITLY go back.

Wasn't my best experience with the ensemble of Thyme dining options. Service was good and very friendly. Calamari appetizer was ok. Fish and Chips were good. Chicken pot pie was very disappointing - little more than watery chicken noodle soup. The salmon was so over-cooked that the top was dry and crunchy, the accompanying rice was sitting in a puddle of water and the fresh beans were bland All in it was $120 and it wasn't very good. Won't be in a hurry to go back.

There is nothing not to love about this place! Service is wonderful and so is the food. Experience: staff are very attentive and helpful. It can get pretty busy and noisy (even at lunch time), but I didn't mind it at all! Food: I would recommend ordering off their specials menu if you're just visiting in Culpeper. We were lucky enough to go when they were offering their Thanksgiving meal and can't recommend it enough. DELICIOUS! They even perfected the stuffing like my Mama makes it. I highly recommend their hot apple cider on a cold day too. I personally didn't love my puff pastry special, but I can be picky sometimes so other people would probably enjoy it!! Their wedge salad was yummy with the perfect amount of dressing and bacon. LOVE LOVE LOVE
Party of 4 for late lunch. Seated 45 mins before their 3:00PM closure to prepare for dinner. Sat for 15 mins absolutely unattended by wait staff. I had to hail a waiter to place order. No effort to explain dishes beyond written menu. Not welcoming at all.Food was good to very good...2 pot pies from our ladies were given good reviews, other mail had open faced ham sandwich but requested no bechamel sauce ..and attendant scoffed at that. I had Salad Nicoise w over-cooked tuna and the raw red onions I'd asked to hold. I received a tea refill very late in the meal after having sat with a emtpy glass for far too long. So, food good but..would I return? No.

This is our second visit here and it's just as we remembered. Fresh, locally grown foods are cooked to perfection and served with great pride. Staff are attentive and patient to answer questions. Today we had the Smoked trout as a starter. Delicious. Then the Chicken Pot Pie for me and the Salmon with Potatoes Au Gratin and Greenbeans for my husband. Good portion sizes well prepared. So worth us taking a special side trip to visit. My absolute favorite today, the warm focaccia served first thing.

Have never had anything bad at Thyme. Service is always good to great, and the menu is awesome and well done. If it comes to it, just ask what you should order and they'll steer you right. Maybe slightly pricey...but clearly superior.

My husband and I stopped for lunch and enjoyed the puff pastry of the day and the pork roast. They did not disappoint. Food was delicious and wait staff was friendly and helpful. Look forward to going back the next time we are in the area. Although this time we might both need our own pork roast entree. It was that good.

Amazing service! Our food was delicious, reasonably priced, and we didn't have to wait long for it. The atmosphere at the outdoor seating area is perfect especially on a nice evening. Food selection was great.
