Good food and a great atmosphere. The wings were really good if you get extra sauce.

The food was barely tolerable, and we all have upset stomachs now. The boneless chicken wings had no sauce and tasted like chemicals. The kids' hamburgers were paper thin and not worth the price. The chicken pot pie was cold in the middle. We are confused about the glowing reviews and will not be back.

Visited on Saturday March 30th after riding on the Virginia Creeper Trail. Really good atmosphere to enjoy some good wings and other food after a ride. We had. group of 11 people and arrived shortly after we finished our ride at around 3:00pm. We were greeted by friendly staff and was waited on pretty quickly. The kitchen was slammed but they did a pretty good job of bringing the appetizers out quickly. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and Creole Dry rub wings. I really enjoyed both especially the sandwich. The wings were spicy but not too hot. My wife had the the burrito bowl but wasn’t to impressed. Others in the group wings and and burgers and both seemed to please. There is an ice cream parlor at the same location in the outside picnic tables where we had our meal. The ice cream was really good. I also sampled one of the Damascus Local brews they had. Overall a great local place to eat.Kid-friendliness: Good for kids.

Great tasting casual food with a flair. Fun to sit outside and listen to music with my dog! Great service by kind people.

Even though they were a little understaffed, our waitress was quick and efficient and very sweet! The wings were awesome and hot! Cute atmosphere and perfect after a long bike ride on the Virginia Creeper

1st time for us. We had chicken pot pie and fish n chips. Both were very tasty. The pot pie was made with fresh made pie crust and was full of chicken and veggies. The cherry cider also very good.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. The fried chicken sandwich is worth the drive alone.

After a local told me not to go here, I still tried. Two adults, a 7 year old and a service dog. We arrived late and the place was packed. There was about to be seats open at the bar...but a staff member approached and let us know we could only be sat outside. It was about 40 degrees, rained all day, and I had a kid with me. They let me know because we had a dog we could not sit inside. I explained he is a service dog, although he was wearing his vest, tags etc and it was very visible he was a service dog. I told her you can't not seat us because of the dog and she insisted we couldn't sit indoors. Needless to say we went somewhere else and didn't return to the rest of our trip. The Old Mill is great and even has a dog plate on the menu.

It's right off the creeper trail so a lot of people come here. The service was good, just slow. The fish was entirely flavorless and very expensive. It was like fair food and likewise pricing. Kitchen staff handling vegetables and burgers did not have gloves on. No soap in outside bathroom area. The health code violation was just concerning.
