My daughter and I came through the drive through on 4/1/2024 and ordered two fish dinners which was $10.21 a piece . We got a slice of sweet potato pie and chocolate pie. Two drinks one lemonade and a Starry soda my total was $36 and some change the fish was very bland no seasonings at all we could not eat it. I live on the SouthSide of town and didn’t get a chance to bring it back this was my first time trying the fish here. I was really disappointed in the taste of the food. I called up there today 4/2/2024 after 6 and no one answered the phone

The portion of food doesn't match with the cost. The grilled chicken was salty and small I could actually count how many fries I had. The floors were sticky and dirty. The staff was really nice and polite but whomever owns it needs to invest in some improvements. I will not eat there again because it wasn't really clean .

My husband and I stopped to gas up on our way back to NC, when I discovered Golden Skillet. I told my husband I wanted to try it and he kinda gave me the side eye, but nonetheless I like trying new restaurants when we’re out of town. I walk in and I’m greeted by two very nice young employees, however an older female employee was not as friendly. I don’t wanna say it’s because my skin is brown but I feel that way. My husband walks in to check on me and he gets the same look from the older female employee and gives me the eye like baby I told you. She takes my payment for the black berry cobbler that was suggested to me and she literally acted like she didn’t want to touch me or my credit card. My food was Delicious and I wish I could give them a 5 star for service but I just can’t. Maybe I will visit a different one next time.
