The food was delicious, the service was great, our server Jibreill was on point. He was right there when you needed him and the beers were back on the table before you even realized it. But the noise level inside was way too much. This is most definitely not the place if you want to have a conversation with friends or relax with some food and drinks. I would come back, but on a quieter day.

Coworker and myself went on a Sunday eve to check out the Golf Simulators and have a bit of time to relax and not think about work. Atmosphere and facility's cleanliness was great. Gentleman that helped us set up the Simulator for our round was great. Server was very friendly and prompt. Always checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Simulator took a little bit getting used to its way of accepting our shots, more user error than simulators I believe. There was a bit of a hiccup throughout our play but I have to say the Owner Richard after speaking with him by phone......was professional and was an easy fix. I still say we enjoyed ourselves and will be returning. Good way to get myself ready to go out and play on real courses locally, as I just moved back to the area. ?

When 5 people at a table and only 4 get their food. Not the waitress fault but kitchen. Mine was the easiest to make and she finally brought my burger out with no fries. She said I will bring out soon. I did give her a crazy look and she kept apologizing. She did take my meal off. Living 40 miles away won't be going back.

We have visited River District Golf and Social several times. There is variety of food selection and so far everything we have tried has been very good. The service is alway great as well! Highly recommend this place!

Four friends and I went to RDGS on 12/22/23 for Christmas lunch at 12 noon. We got our drinks and ordered appetizers (mozzarella sticks...a little greasy and not hot, but tasty), which took much longer than reasonable to arrive. I asked for extra sauce, but the server didn't bring that until we were done eating the appetizers. We told him we would wait to order our food after we enjoyed our appetizers, which were long gone before he ever came back to take our food order. We then waited ONE HOUR for our food (wraps and fries), and then only the other 4 got theirs. It was uncomfortable for everyone since nobody wanted to eat until I got my food, but I insisted they go ahead. It's a good thing I did...I didn't get mine until the rest were halfway through eating. The manager's explanations were that the place was packed (it wasn't), they were short-staffed, and they were waiting for more chicken to cook and didn't want the others' food to get cold sitting under the lights so they went ahead and served what they had ready. Our friend who planned this get-together was embarrassed that she had chosen RDGS and felt badly because she had heard it was a good place to come. We assured her that it was not her fault, but when you expect to have a fun time with a group of friends you don't see very often, bad service does put damper on things for sure. We did each got a 20% discount off our meal, and they did remove the $.50 charge for the extra sauce. In the hour that we waited for our food, we never saw our server again, and not one person came to check on us to refill our drinks or offer an explanation of why it was taking so long. After we tracked someone down to find out what was taking so long, the manager finally responded and came to our table with the 20% off coupon. Customer service is the name of the game, and in this case, you totally failed. I would much rather have had good service and paid full price.

Came here for the first time to pick up some food. Got the 12 piece wings, half Caribbean Jerk and half Spicy Garlic Buffalo and an order of Mozzarella sticks. Overall everything was good, mozzarella sticks were on the greasy side but still edible if you pat it down with a napkin. I loved the Caribbean Jerk sauce, if anything that sauce had more of a kick to it than the Spicy Garlic. So if you like a little spice, I recommend it!
Such a great place to have in Danville! We love taking our kids here as well! Service is great and food is exceptional!

While the atmosphere is great, this is the second time we have been where we can get NO service. We were in today, Tuesday, at 3:30 in the afternoon. We sat at the bar, were the only ones at the bar. Asked what we wanted to drink, we’re served drinks promptly and then no one ever spoke to us again. We waited around, for an hour. We wanted to eat and have more than one drink, but neither bartender, the first one or the one that relieved him, ever gave us a second of their time. So we asked to tab out and left to get some food elsewhere. This was our second experience like this here.While I appreciate the merchants reply, their reply is not one that can be responded to. They state my review is an exaggeration however, I arrived at 3:30 and left at 4:34. So the review was unfortunately accurate. The establishment may be counting from the time I received my drinks until I left. Which may be closer to 34 minutes. But the reality is they changed shifts and the oncoming never bothered to acknowledgement my existence. Not the way one should want to conduct business. I really want to enjoy this place and the food and atmosphere are amazing however the service lacks so badly!

We booked the Hole in One Party Package for my mother’s 55th birthday party on a busy Saturday evening, Jacob & KK were our servers and they done a phenomenal job taking care of a group of about 40 people. The food, drinks and atmosphere were so great I had to come back and check it out again less than a week later. Josh was the bartender and stayed on top of things with his guests. The house made pork rinds & guac… ?Golf… the simulators are always fun whether you’re a beginner, a pro, or somewhere in between.
