When it says soul you expect a soul restaurant. That is not what we received. The owner and staff was more interested in a Halloween party that started at 9pm and we were there from 7:15 to 8:15. We were the only customers in the establishment. We made a comment that we normally go to Greensboro for good food and our waiter/bartender agreed with us in saying you have to go out of Danville to get "acceptable " food. We ordered a burger that took 25 minutes to prepare with 5 people in the kitchen.

Just ordered 2 fish po boys, my food was still hot even after a 30 minute drive. I love the sandwiches, but the lettuce used takes away from the quality of the sandwich. Romaine lettuce would be a better choice.

We came on 10/14 for my daughters birthday and on the 15th for mine. We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the wonderful workers there. Thanks for being so attentive. The food was amazing. We will be back.

The crab cakes & margaritas were good, but for an upscale restaurant, they should do away with the box/powdered mash potatoes in the garlic mashed potatoes, add the garlic because there wasn't any in this side item & season the vegetable medley. I tasted my friend's asparagus & they were delicious! Nice atmosphere & I do wish them prosperity.
