The food here was sub par. The ribs instead of being properly brushed with sauce they just squirted some on top. Mac and Cheese equivalent to a generic dry boxed version. The cornbread was fine and the butter beans fine but under seasoned. We ordered mozzarella sticks and they were good as well. The sweet tea was watered down. It's obvious these guys are cutting corners wherever they can. Service was fine but the mozzarella sticks and entrees all came at the same time. There was only one other table at the time so not like they were rushed. When you go out to eat you desire an enjoyable atmosphere right? Having Fox News coming at you from both sides of the restaurant is not my idea of a pleasant atmosphere. So now I'm eating dinner with Laura Ingraham spouting off whatever conspiracy theories she's floating for the evening on one side and watch Houston flooding on the other. Whatever political views you might have don't rub them in my face and hold me hostage to them while I'm attempting to get whatever enjoyment I can from my sub par meal. I always try to support local restaurants and had been wanting to come here. What a disappointment.

One of my favorite road spots by far! Really good bbq, very convenient and tasty for breakfast. Last great food stop from Richmond to Waverly.

Out of all the bbq I’ve had in my lifetime, I would rate the quality of this one of the lowest. No flavor and the meat was dry. The service was okay but I also watched someone come in and ask if they were hiring and the staff told them oh we have no applications. Seems to me you should be taking applications.

Service was fabulous last evening. We had the beef brisket sandwich and platters. The hush puppies were huge and the best I ever had. Waitress outdid herself in serving us and checking on despite seating more and more diners. We liked it so much we returned for breakfast.

My husband and I have not eaten at Prince George BBQ in years. Visited family and thought we would eat dinner there. We both got the bbq combo platter. Pork, beef, ribs and chicken. All of the meet was very dry. Sides ok. Slaw, collards, mac n cheese and okra were OK, nothing to brag about. Hush puppies were delicious. Waitress was great and very friendly. I told her the meat was very dry so she comped us with a piece of carrot cake. A very disappointing experience to say the least.

The brisket was tough and dry as a bone, their mac and cheese is legit stovers, mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes with generic brown gravy.Their advertised homemade sauce is more than likely the same sauce at Arby's.The waitress was full of energy and very nice. The overall atmosphere of the place is decent, plenty of decoration but nothing is properly themed with "BBQ"

Food is subpar and is not the same at this location as it was two or more years ago. Very bland and just I would highly recommend not to go there. To the owners, whatever you people did to change it, or if you changed ownership, it’ll be another change coming soon because customers will stop coming wake up

This place gives off a bad racist vibe! Two TV's on both sides, and they both are playing Fox 5 news! I'm not a Democrat nor a republican and I can see what clearly see what they are trying to portray with an Elvis presley section as well! So while they are playing fox news talking about the border crossing, they have Mexicans in the back cooking along with a black lady! And the waitresses are all white, HYPOCRISY in plain sight! The business is running due to the black lady and Mexicans in the back making the good food, but they are playing on the tv's to keep them out of the country! It's just a shame, but that is the world we are living in now.. To give advice to owner, play fox News on 1 TV and at least local news on the other SMH.. So thank you to the black and mexicans workers for the great food and thank you, waiters, for the good customer service ! As for Ownership, realize why in business and give credit and respect when it's due! The pricing is decent for food, but for drinks, it is ridiculous for $4+ for a glass of orange juice and 3+ for coffee, just a rip-off for drinks. My wife and I ordered eggs, grits, and toast only... Bill came to $30. We could've gone to Golden Coral and paid the same and ate all we could eat breakfast
