This movie theatre is ok. Seats feel a bit cramped, but at least the sound quality of the movie is better than it is in AMC Tysons. Food service is disappointing as I've had multiple experiences of ordering food only for it to take about 20 minutes for the food to be ready, and that doesn't include the 5 minutes I've had to wait to get a staff member. Tickets are a bit pricey, especially in the afternoon where I had to pay $50 for 2 tickets. Angelika is nice, but there could be some improvements in service to make it more convenient for customers.

Went to a Sunday night showing. First time there and so many have told me how nice it is. We bought tickets at the front, my son noticed that the lady was cursing during her interaction with us.We bought food, popcorn and drinks. Realized after we got seated that I never got the water I purchased. It was too warm in there, you could feel the temp change as we walked in, was sweating by the time i sat down. After the lights came up, the place was trashed which was a surprise being only us and another family the whole theater! Bathrooms were beautiful but filthy. There was hardly anyone else there, and was a 7:30 showing, would think they would have time to clean for the before the evening showings.Won't be back anytime soon!

Come on. Upgrade your theater. Your seat sucks

This theater should’ve been closed yesterday. They only indicated that tickets needed to be purchased at the box office with cash. When I arrived, found out that concessions were essentially closed as well. This place barely qualifies as a business. (Concession cup pictured)

A smaller theater but still fantastic. My goto

They play a nice selection of foreign movies. However, their cafe rules are ridiculous. We ordered a glass of wine and beer and asked for water - they handed us a 3oz doll size cup. Apparently, this is all that they give as 'free' water. We were told that if we wanted more water, we would need to buy bottled.Next time, I will make sure to remember to bring my own reusable water jug.Plastic bottle water pushers ?

not a big movie theater but hosts indie/minor films, clean and restos are nearby.

Angelika appears to be getting a bit long in the tooth. The entire facility needs a good cleaning. Theater 6 had a strong odor, which we determined was rancid popcorn butter. Disappointing for what used to be a great place to see a film.

There are darn few places where you can see an independent movie these days. Angelika is one of them and it's a great experience to boot. Mosaic is a fun place to kill a bit of time before or after the flick as well.

went to watch Casablanca at Mosaic Angelika on February 14. We got there a few minutes early and notice there was no sound. I reported this to staff (had to go downstairs as staff on my floor ignored me) Had to do this twice more which was made less pleasant because escalator was out. The movie started without sound playing, and despite promises to me was not restarted once this was fixed. Sound went out again near the end. For $18/ticket this was not the quality experience you used to get. Things seem to be fraying at the edges at Mosaic. If I go to Mosaic again and sound is out i will immediately request a refund a leave. Staff continued to be dismissive and claim problem had been fixed. Very disappointing evening.

My wife and I went to see a special showing of Casablanca on February 14. We arrived early and noted there was no sound for ads/previews. I tried to report this to 2nd floor staff who ignored me, so had to go downstairs to first floor to find someone to talk to. Had to do this twice more, made worse by fact escalator was out and so had to keep going up the stairs. The movie started with no sound, so had to report again. I suggested the movie be restarted and was promised it would be. It wasn't. I was told the problem was fixed, but it wasn't, and the sound went out again at the end of the evening. The staff was clearly annoyed I kept pointing this out and were in the mode of telling me whatever it took to get me to go away. Of course many of the patrons were shouting "Sound" because they don't understand there are no longer projectionists sitting in some box at the top. For $18/ticket for a movie which premiered in 1942, it was very disappointing. Mosaic used to be a quality experience but now it's fraying at the edges.

Nice venue for art house cinema. Saw Anatomy of a Fall there. Unforgettable.

Its a good movie theater in the beautiful mosaic district. What really makes it stand out is how they do limited runs of classic and indy movies, film festivals, and really cheap matinee pricing. Please keep doing that, its great for people who just want to see movies without having to make a huge financial decision cough cough AMC Tysons and your $25 tickets. I will never understand why theaters would rather have empty showing all morning than just reduce their prices and at least have a few old people come in.

This place was very rude when we wanted to use the space for homework. They up charged the drinks that were displayed on the menu. Will not be returning. Water bottle was 7$. No coffee flavors and the coffee tastes horrible. Do not come here!!!
