Really this place is a 4, but I upgraded to a 5 to help counteract the haters here. Yes the facility is dated and English is their second language but they always double-check my order on the phone and when they ring me up. I have never had anything but really good General Tso's, Orange Chicken, Lo Mein, Mushu Pork, Fried rice and Sweet n Sour chicken, “Nobody hates the good ones. I was disappointed that Shrimp with Lobster Sauce here uses small shrimp--no shrimp flavor like large shrimp. They are almost as small as salad shrimp (or are). i wont get it again. The sauce had lots of mushrooms, water chestnuts, a few peas, carrot pieces, and egg.. typical flavor. Also the wontons are different tasting. I thought they used to be chicken .. These are not a light meat like i remember, its a very dark meat like dark pork, stronger flavor.

I won't order from here again, they have horrible customer service. They messed up my order and argued that I ordered it wrong, no offer to fix it or apologies. The Herndon location is much better.

This is the only Chinese place my family goes to in the Fairfax area. Their portions are so generous, everything is so fresh, prices are relatively a bit cheaper than other Chinese places, and the food is prepared so quickly. A reliable, yummy option if you’re in the mood for Chinese!

I will not going to be going back to this shop because the cashier got my order wrong and when I told her about it she made me pay my correct order and when I asked her for some hot sauce she threw it at me

Surprisingly tasty and great value. Was shopping at trader Joe's and got lunch here. Got the shrimp in lobster sauce and it was good but a little too salty.

I'd best describe China Kind like one reviewer below did: It's like fast food American Chinese food. Flavors are simple and cravable (salty / sweet / spicy or the ingredients natural flavor). The fried rice is standard quality. The egg rolls similarly, crispy and munch worthy. China King is an incredible value. You get to pay McDonald value meal prices for simple American style Chinese food. Reviewers whining are doing so forgetting this is a value proposition. And for it's price, it's a Sunday treat I often enjoy. In fact, I am gonna go right now lol. My goto? General Tso. In all fairness, this isn't some small restaurant you MUST try. It's a great deal, quick meal and has the basic flavors down.

The food is great, but I hate the fact that they started with singing credit cards which pushes me to tip and because of that I may have to go less since I do not carry cash with me. Please stop handing out the credit card receipts for signature as I feel like I have to tip, all my family love your food and we want to come back. Thank you.
