I tried the snow onion chicken tenders and it's absolutely DELICIOUS!The portion is huge and is good for two people. I just wish they have smaller sizes enough for one person.

I had been craving fried chicken for a while but had grown tired of eating at normal fast food chicken spots like Popeyes. A friend suggested we try Korean Fried Chicken and I must say I was skeptical. We ordered the following items for take-out: chicken skins, waffle fries, and soy garlic chicken tenders and wings. It was all very good. Everything was fresh, had great flavor and was fried thoroughly. I would try it again.

Great wings! The spice level on the garlic soy is perfect. These are best fresh - the crunch on the wings is chefs kiss and will be gone if you reheat sadly. I also love the pickled radish on the side.

This place was ok. Spicy chicken is ok, but when someone asks for medium, it shouldn't be spicy to the extent that it physically hurts, and I felt like that when I got the garlic soy and snowed garlic spicy. Service wasn't that great either as they were a little rude and refused to take our order for 20 minutes after saying we needed 4 minutes to decide.Probably won't be coming back here.

Fantastic host/server/manager/owner[?].Very well prepared and delicious food.Really small but somewhat cozy space. Fairly bad parking lot due to limited number of spots and cramped traffic layout.Parking: Very cramped, awkward spots. Enter right off from big road. Single lane of traffic to another row of spots in front of recessed businesses causes traffic jams in the lot. People are prone to backing up into on-coming cars. People sit in cars waiting for spots. It's quite a mess.

We used to love going to Choongman Chicken. But unfortunately today the service was very disappointing. We decided to go for dinner on Valentine's day and literally we were the only party there. The person taking our order messed up the order and did a very sloppy job serving food, condiments and water. He was very disengaged and paid no attention to us. It did not feel right to be ignored this way, not getting the food right and yet be charged 18% tips for this subpar service. I will definitely think twice before heading towards this restaurant next time.

The experience I had with this location of Choong Man is horrible. My friends and I came in to dine in. However, the receptionists barely saw us walking in and we were left confused without instructions to wait or sit down. One of them was eating, which is fine and we don't want to disturb but the other one was talking on the phone without paying attention to who walking in and out of the restaurant. Then we sat down and waited and of course they didn't recognize us. After a while, another group of customers went in and just went straight to table to sit down just as we did. They got the receptionists' attention immediately as they started to prepare water and cups. As the receptionists walked by our table to serve the other table, we still don't get their attention as if we're invisible. We were waiting confused without any help while the other table came after but got water and the waiter came talk to them (our table was closer to the counter and they literally walked past us). I felt very disappointed and walked out.

I'll preface this review with the caveat that I have only eaten takeout. So far, my experience at Choong Man has included Original chicken wings, Spicy Garlic, and Cajun and Waffle fries. The Original wings were rather disappointing in flavor and didn't quite have that crunch that I prefer in American style fried chicken. The Spicy Garlic wings, however, are incredible. Very delicious with a complex spicy sweetness of which I can't get enough! As for the fries, the Cajun are quite tasty but travel very poorly. They were a soggy mess. The waffle fries traveled very well and were vibrantly crispy and delightful. As far as service is concerned, every time I've come in the gentlemen at the counter have seemed ambivalent, indifferent, and a bit incompetent. Last time I came in, they heard my name incorrectly (not a big deal) but suggested I perhaps provided a different name? Turns out they entered "Jeck" instead of "Jeff". Oh well, will try other fried chicken spots but I'll certainly be back for the Spicy Garlic wings!
