“As far as college dining goes, Ike’s is quite good, though to be fair “college dining” is not exactly a high bar. The food is usually quite tasty, and most meals there’s a good selection of options. However, the service is highly variable; I’ve had a decent amount of good experiences but also a handful of bad ones.My biggest complaint is that since you aren’t serving yourself, you have little to no control over the portion sizes the servers give you. I’ve had someone heap my plate until the food was nearly falling off, which is usually way more than I want to eat, but also sometimes have someone give me these tiny, almost “sample size” portions of each item that add up to like half a meal. I’ve found that, while I can usually get more if I ask, trying to say “that’s enough” is surprisingly difficult due to the large amount of background noise; often the server doesn’t hear what I’m saying until they’ve already put the food on my plate.Another thing worth noting is that there is often a lot of background noise, which depending on your preferences can be a benefit or a problem. Personally I find it can be helpful when trying to study, but some people could find it overwhelming.Vegetarian options: Always some vegetarian options, but the amount and quality can vary day to day.“
“Nice dining experience overall, though as is often the case with college dining halls, the quality is a bit inconsistent. Service is highly variable, I’ve had some good experiences, numerous neutral experiences, and a few downright bad experiences, but it’s mostly been ok. The food is usually good, though it can be somewhat variable too; I’ve had some of the best college dining hall food I’ve ever had and some of the worst I’ve ever had at this place, though again most of the time it’s pretty good.I also really like the dining atmosphere here, it’s got a nice chill & relaxed vibe, if you don’t mind the background noise of the music, and everyone else’s conversations during busy hours. My biggest complaint as a college student is the lack of outlets to plug in one’s phone or laptop. There’s only three outlets that I’m aware of, and only two of those work, and only one of those is practically accessible. I like to hang out and study here on weekends when it’s much easier to get a table next to the one good outlet. Sadly, my laptop’s limited battery life means it’s not a reliable spot to set up for a long study session on weekdays, which I would otherwise really like to do since this place has a sweet spot of ambient stimulation levels for my ADHD brain that makes it easier to concentrate for extended periods of time. Hoping one of these years they add more outlets. ?Vegetarian options: Similar to Ike’s, the other major dining hall on campus, there is always a decent selection of vegetarian options, though the amount and quality of vegetarian dishes can vary day to day.Dietary restrictions: They have an allergy friendly station, so students with most food allergies will have that option available.Wheelchair accessibility: The building has a wheelchair accessible entrance. The dining hall itself is on the second floor, and there is one elevator that goes from the lobby to the dining hall entrance. The inside of the dining hall can be crowded during peak hours, but is much easier to navigate between primary meal times. There is a decent selection of accessible tables.“
“The owner was really nice. The gimbap was perfectly wrapped. Rice was nice and thin with lots of filling. The pork katsu was crispy and the pork was tender. The sauce tasted really great. This is a very unassuming place with high quality food.“
“Delicious seafood bimpap, the squid was fresh and tender while the vegetables were also fresh and crisp! Combine in with steamed white rice in the hot pot and it was the perfect mix!!Highly recommend, sweetest lady who took our order and made sure we enjoyed our meal and was taken care of. Best restaurant in that plaza, try it out!“
“Urbanspace is on the top floor of Tysons Galleria and offers a fancier food court or "Food Hall" as it is called these days. We like the options - Andy's Pizza (best pizza in the DMV) and Donburi (tasty Japanese comfort food - Katsu donburi (pork, chicken, shrimp fried with eggs and a tasty salty/sweet sauce). There have been several other options (fish & chips, Chinese, etc) but they seem to not be able to sustain themselves over time which is unfortunate. I hope they are able to bring in a few unique food ideas that can sustain over time. My main reason for submitting this review and I give the existing places a solid 4 stars but am not happy about the "Monday 20% off deal" at Urbanspace if you pay with Apple Pay. It continues to be advertised all over the mall and when we went this past Monday we were told it is no longer offered. If that's the case, they need to take down the stickers on the front door and the computerized advertisement on the directory. Urbanspace/Tysons Galleria - get rid of the false advertising please...“
“I congratulate this manager and his work team! They have the store in excellent condition. Just seeing ALL the products organized, clean and easy to access is the best! I fell in love when I saw this supermarket! I don't give them 5 ⭐️, because I came to look for the Bread Flour ?? that I have always bought here... and I found this very high increase. I was disappointed not to be able to take my bread flour! I hope they can do something to lower that price ????? Here you can find Latin and Asian products of excellent quality! I recommend it!“
“We love coming here! It's great value and delicious. We haven't tried a dish here that we didn't like. The cashier is the best, we really should know her name by now since we visit so often. She's always so friendly and helpful when we need help navigating the menu. She'll give you recommendations and descriptions which is so nice to someone who isn't familiar with Korean Food.We love coming here because it's so casual and relaxed. We know that when we come here, we'll head home feeling warm with our bellies full and smiles on our faces. Our faves: Donkatsu, Budaejigae which is Army Stew, Jjajangmyeon with Tangsuyuk (a must try combo), Jjampong and Griiled Fish. We love how everything has side dishes, it's just so fun.“
“We've tried many different places that sell Korean corn dogs and Gold Miss is one of the better ones. They are made to order so a bit of a wait after you order, but they come out hot and crispy. If you order it with cheese inside, it's nice and gooey. The outside is like a donut texture. It's so good!“
