8/3/21 The wait wasn't long and I was greeted by a lady named Hally who was most helpful. She seemed to be the only person on the floor, but I got the feeling she likes it that way. As I write, Justin Bieber's Holly is play as Chance The Rapper sings. The music selection is pretty nice as I wait for my Garlic Soy Boneless chicken to cook. I also ordered fries and YES, THESE FRIES ARE HOT AND CRISPY!!!:) The food hit the spot and I am sure to be back here again. While I was waiting, I checked out the men's bathroom and it was very clean. Unfortunately the bathrooms are not unisex although they very well could be. Hope to come back here with my wife. Update: I also wanted to inform people that the oil used for the cooking is not peanut oil, but soy oil instead.

Such good chicken. Love their sweet onion flavor. Super friendly staff when they opened up!

Where many restaurants attempt to be all things to all people by preparing seafood, beef, vegetarian, pork, et.al., this newfound culinary jewel does one thing - CHICKEN- and they do it right. The photo is of the Spicy Chicken Sandwich AFTER it has been consumed. Honestly, one sniff of that sriracha/mayo sauce and I couldn't wait.

Very juicy and tasty but it took forever for my food to be ready even though I called ahead and picked up when they gave me the estimated time.

Takeout from Gama always hits the spot, so I was excited to dine in for the first time! We sat at one of the outdoor tables, but the indoor space is cute and nicely decorated. To start things off, the edamame came generously portioned and cooked just right. Not too mushy, not too hard. For my main dish, I ordered a plate of combo chicken with half plain breading, half soy garlic. The chicken is crispy on the outside with the most heavenly breading--satisfyingly crunchy and not too thick. The meat itself is perfectly juicy and tender. All the fried chicken dishes come with a side of pickled radish. Service was fast and super friendly! There's a cute little trash can at the table to drop bones in while you're eating, and our server gave us wet wipes for our hands as well. Small but nice touches, as eating fried chicken can be messy business. Glad to have this gem of a restaurant in the neighborhood!

More than just a Korean fried chicken place. The beer selection is good and affordably priced, and its a great spot to chill outside on a nice day and enjoy a Sapporo. Their new burger is interesting and a good addition to the menu. The fried chicken definitely competes well with other brands, and I urge you to try their onion chicken. It is even more messy to eat than the normal chicken, but it tastes delightfully sweet. Considerate staff; I never have any issues here

I gave Gama a try today to compare it with another local Korean chicken place, Choong Man. For sides I ordered kimchi, radish, seasoned fries, and cucumbers. Reviewing kimchi is almost a futile exercise because everybody prepares it differently. I will say, though, that kimchi should taste bright and crisp. I found it too mushy for my taste. The diced cucumbers were similarly lacking in crunch, as though it had been sitting in the dressing for too long a time. The radish, on the other hand, was what I expected and did not disappoint. The seasoned fries had grated Parmesan, which was fine, but I didn't taste much seasoning beyond that in my "seasoned" fries. I wanted to add salt to the fries, but the salt in my table's shaker wouldn't flow, and neither did the salt at the table next to me. As for the chicken, I tried the sweet onion with drums and soy-garlic wings. The sauce that came with the drums was similar to that found at Choong Man, but the chicken itself didn't have as much crunch. (As with my veggies, I guess I prefer more crunch than less.) I did prefer Gama's soy-garlic recipe over Choong Man's. Overall, the chicken was acceptable, but your taste preferences may vary. The restaurant's decor was, uhm, interesting: unfinished-style ceilings contrasted by chandeliers, white rhino and ram heads on the walls along with charcuterie serving boards. I feel as though the bar should be redesigned so as to be able to fit a larger TV if they want to attract a weekend crowd who may want beer and chicken while watching sports on TV - the Olympics is only a few days away, after all. Still, I prefer Gama's atmosphere to that of Choong Man's low-rent vibe (which has its own charm if I were only interested in chicken and beer.) To close on an upbeat note, the server was nice.

I have loved Gama since late last year - the wings have great flavor, are always piping hot, and there isn't one option that isn't good! I got a larger order in December for a small gathering and this order was handled very well to be a same day, few hours before pick up order. It will definitely be a party wing spot in the future. Although I've not dined in yet (thanks ubereats and pickup), my go to lately has been the spicy chicken sandwich. How do the fries stay so crispy even when cold?! Bottomline, get this sandwich and fries!

The food was great but nothing special. Ordinary Korean style chicken and the sauce. Maybe I expected renaissance experience. Restaurant was clean and vibe fushion style interior design as well as music (which it catches younger generation's tention). The service was decent (no welcoming but no rudeness). Overall 4 stars. Good place to visit once in a~while. Nothing much makes me willing to return.

The chicken was juicy, crispy, fresh, and absolutely delicious! I ate the whole thing before I remembered to take a picture. The seasoned fries with spicy mayo are a must for everyone. Everything was so good!

Passing throw Virginia on our way to Georgia we stopped here. The chicken was very good the sweet onion sauce is a very good dipping sauce. We also had a few other flavors the soy garlic and the spicy chicken. Both where good.

The food was delicious. I ordered a chicken sandwich that comes with fries and soy garlic wings. I was very impressed with the sandwich and thought it was amazing. The wings were also great. I will definitely come back and would highly recommend

Tried the 10 piece wings here with a mix of extra spicy sauce and garlic soy. The extra spicy was indeed very spicy, more than I expected. The garlic soy was less so, and a good change from the heat of the spicy wings. The wings were not as crispy as I was expecting for Korean fried chicken, which was the downside. Also order the mandu dumplings: they are out fresh but the filling seemed light in meat, heavy on the vegetables.

Found this place randomly when we took wifes car to get serviced at satellite(5min or less walk). The drums+chicken bites were great. chicken was extra crispy +flavorful and pretty quick. The gentle that attended us this afternoon was professional and attentive. Would definitely get again if close to this area.

Had a great lunch here! The concept is fairly similar to Bonchon. The chicken is a little less crispy (more moist). Great flavor and the lunch special is a great deal (11.95 for 7 piece with fries and cubed pickled radish). There are quite a few options for the special--you can even opt for bibimbap if you want. The fries had a great flavor as well as the chicken. The chicken was not overly breaded and didn't leave us as full as chicken from other places. We also got a side of pickled cucumber which was simple but yummy! There was plenty of outdoor seating on a weekday. Service was friendly and attentive. They have a limited selection of beers, including Sapporo and Guinness, but they felt slightly overpriced.
