This place has great service and the venue is stellar however the main point of the whole restaurant is good for which is lacking here in my humble opinion. If you are familiar with Japanese food the dishes are mediocre at best.

I loved it here! The main reason I came to this restaurant was because of a post I saw on Instagram and I’m so happy I came. We got Gyoza to start and Tonkotsu Ramen as our meals. I love to drink cute drinks and they have a great cocktail menu. The service was great, I’ll definitely be back.

It was pretty fantastic and they have quite a few menu items that are not very easy to find. I ate Chirashi Don and it was fantastic quality.
Great food and outstanding experience. I have been to similar places before this one definitely stands out among them. Atmosphere was on point, place was busy, not a surprise. Their food quality and presentation is excellent. Food is just melting in your mouth and you don’t feel heavy after eating. Very great experience will definitely be back for ramen and skewers next time!

This is a very cute Japanese restaurant with great vibes and decorations - almost feel like we are in Japan!Staff is friendly, food is overall great (I took one star off mostly because the udon was a bit plain and not too much content), dessert is amazing! Also recommend the screwers platter as an appetizer:)

Unfortunately our second experience did not match the first… My boyfriend and I loved our first experience here. We decided to come again for our anniversary. I guess it was just our waitress but from the moment we were seated there was some bothered energy coming from her. We ordered our drinks, and as we gave her IDs she said that she would take them this one time in an annoyed tone and that we will have to fix them. We were very confused, and she pointed out that it was because they were vertical IDs instead of horizontal. This has never been a problem anywhere else and especially since our IDS don’t expire for another 3-5 years… Also , as we were dining my boyfriend pointed out that she had been staring at us across from the bar and it just felt weird and I couldn’t completely enjoy our experience. However on the upside , the drinks we were allowed and food were amazing.

Wife and I had reservations for our anniversary, showed up early and was able to be seated as they had not become busy yet (weekday visit around 5:30PM).Staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere is really nice in this place. Went for the Wagyu Fried Rice. The fried rice was really really good; however, I'm not sure I would slice Wagyu that thin for the rice as you lose some of the juiciness. If going for Wagyu, go for an actual steak! Doesn't take away that the fried rice was amazing. Also had my standard Philly roll and some agadashi tofu, all of it which was absolutely delicious.Probably some of the best Japanese style food I've had and easy to come out with a $200-$300 meal for two if you are splurging for something special! Was unexpectedly treated to some green tea ice cream by staff for our anniversary which was nice of them.There is a free parking garage at the building and limited street parking.

Everything I tried here so far was an absolute hit ?! This restaurant came across my IG feed and I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest— from the pork bun to the ramen to the meat skewers to the sushi, ? all of it bursting with the a savory flavor made with heart! The service was A1 as the waitress was very polite and prompt with taking the orders and any other request we had. A must try if you’re in the Fairfax area and looking for delicious Japanese cuisine ?
