Hunan Cafe has good Chinese food that is quick and well priced compared to others in the area, it's super close for a pickup. I enjoy most of the entrees I get. The Lo Mein is tasty and the noodles are the right amount of chewy. This is definitely a take out place, it has tables if you want to eat in, but it's not set up for atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and positive, They have their own website and the prices are cheaper than using D**rD*ash so definitely check it out. This is my go to when I need low cost and fast Chinese food.Parking: The parking lot can get busy around lunch and dinner time but there is plenty of spots.

I have ordered twice from this place, each time i ordered Singapore rice noodles. My orders were fresh and tasty. I have tried many other chinese locations, the Singapore Rice Noodle and was disappointed in them. However, this place makes one of the best SRN out there. Their staff are always nice and friendly. Keep up the good work Hunan Cafe Vegetarian options: It is not a vegetarian restaurant but serve a lot of green options.

First rude service. Ordered sweet-and-sour chicken it was so oily and I’m not sure the meat was even cooked enough and it was really poor quality chicken and I got the chicken with garlic sauce again the worst quality meat.

This is not good take out food. We got the Szechuan Chicken and Beef and Broccoli, both of which were slimy and bland. I've never loved Panda Express but I'm taking that over this 10/10 times.

My mom is staying at Inova l Fairfax and we were looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat. Originally we were looking for another resturant but the place closed at 8:00 which seemed to be usual for this area. We were headed back to the hospital when we saw Hunan Cafe. Now it's more a take out place than a sit in resturant but they do have two or three tables and they provided us with plastic plates and cutlery. The food is delicious. Everything is tasty and fresh and the service is awesome. Everyone was so accommodating and nice. We ordered a whole bunch of dishes but the Mapo Tofu was my favorite. It was just the right amount of spicy. Second was the Mu Shi Chicken also very flavorful and not a greasy mess.

Will never come here again. The CHICKEN pad thai was pink and had a horrible taste. After two bites it wasn’t going to get eaten. The crab Rangoon had barely any filling. We tried talking to the manager on the phone and they never transferred us over. They didn’t care that the food was horrible. Never got a refund for what wasn’t eaten. It ended up in the trash. Orange chicken was okay. But there was barely any in the container.
