Creepy vibes off the owner. Not the best kebabs, bread was good though. One of the pieces of chicken smelled foul like he spat on it or something. Super sus, wouldn't surprise me, wont be going back ever.

This place obviously was bought out by someone else. The food and service was HORRIBLY DISGUSTING. The former owner, the food was authentic and delicious. Today it's not!!! Tonight my friend and I ate at this place. It had no spice to the food. The rice was bland. The meat tasted old. My friend spitted out her chicken because it tasted like was all fat. The owner or the old man that worked there was rude. He kept twisting his face and he looked angry. He even started turning off the lights rushing us to eat so he could close the store. He even made a comment that we were lucky to eat inside the restaurant. WTF!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN BACK TO THIS PLACE.

Food was delicious ? seriously I was a little disappointed when they were out of lamb but the beef and the service and friendly service made it well worth I recommend

I always prefer to support local business; these small business people work hard and mostly try to accommodate. Unfortunately, this one has gone totally downhill and I will look elsewhere for kabob's and related.Tried to order first from the on-line menu, a simple veggie platter with bread, and a Kid's gyro, but web site wouldn't take the credit card that I use everywhere. So I called to order:Veggie Platter ?: "Sure, no problem"Kid's Gyro with fries ($6.99 on the on-line menu)?: "We dont do that anymore." Not "we only have one size" or "the price is now higher." Just NO!So 10 minutes later I arrive, pay cash, and in a few minutes am handed a bag and told "we only have two veggies tonight. (usually there are four.)Of course I am disappointed to only learn this now, and ask why I hadn't been told this when I called. Their response, "we told you on the phone --- a total and complete LIE.As I exited the restaurant I did hear behind be "I'll give you your money back." But what I wanted was dinner, not the money. When I got home (3 mins later) I found I had half a container of COLD green beans, warm (but probably spiced-up canned or frozen) spinach, tasteless rice, and white sauce closer to watered-down ranch dressing than to Tzatziki sauce. And a pice of bread much like I remember hardtack, but not how I remembered Nan!In summary, bad service, misrepresentation, ill-prepared food, incorrect menu, and just a total failure of communication. There are a number of reasonably good, locally owned kabob places around Fairfax. Try one of them.

I prefer to support local businesses, and always hesitate to write negative reviews. These businesspeople usually work hard and are trying to accommodate. But this one has gone totally downhill, and sadly should be passed on. Tried to order first on-line, a simple veggie platter with bread and kids gyro. Web site wouldn't take my card (which I use a thousand other places) so I called to place the order. Veggie platter: "sure, no problem. Kid's gyro with fries ($6.99 on the on-line menu): "we dont do that anymore" not "we only have one size" or "the price has increased." Just "No." So 10 minutes later I show up and pay, cash. And only after that, when Im being handed the bag of food, I'm told "we only have two vegatables tonight." (in the past there have been four, eggplant, green bean, spinach, and chic peas, with a choice to have rice.) Of course I am unhappy to learn this only now and ask "why didnt you tell me this when I called to order, I would have gone elsewhere? The response, "we told you on the phones" --- a complete and utter LIE. When I got home (3 min away), I found a large portion of COLD green beans, a smaller portion of warm spinach, and a piece of bread closer to hardtack than Nan, and a white sauce that reminds of watered-down ranch dressing. Well by now you've got the picture ----- if this place had just opened it might be understandable, but King Kabob has been at this location for decades. Anyway, there are any number of decent kabob places around Fairfax; I'll be taking out from them.

Delicious beef kabob and warm bread (not old dry versión you sometimes find at other kabob places) hit the spot on a cold winter day!

Love to Shop

Good but but they close too early.

It's OK. Not as clean as you'd like considering the pandemic era. Bathroom was nasty. Made us not want the food but we already ordered and didn't want to be rude

I ordered food from this place and when asked if they had catering was told no. Then the owner went to the back and returned to the front and said I could do a family style platter for 10. I ordered the food with the understanding of 20 whole pieces of chicken, lamb and kafta kabob. I paid $169. Though he was rude, I wanted to get the order finalized. My sister picked the food up shortly after snd when questioned about the amount of food given for what was discussed and the price; the owner became very combative, rude and petty. Going on and on how this is the amount of food a family would eat in his country. Really???? Long story short. Don't waste you money on this place. Find a kabob place whose service and food is better. There is a tons of kabob places in northern va.

We got food from here and it tasted like it was days old. The rice tasted really bad and had a smell coming from it. The chickpeas tasted like Mac n cheese not chickpeas usually do. The gyro and falafel sandwich tasted really bland. I called them to complain and the owner started yelling at me telling me I’m being unthankful and I don’t respect food. He didn’t give me a chance to talk and was very disrespectful and wouldn’t let me explain the whole situation to him. He kept yelling and told me to never come back if I didn’t like the food. I have had Persian food that taste a lot better then King Kabobs food. This is not what Persian food tastes like. I will definitely never go there again.

A bit disappointing. Wife was craving "spinning thing meat", and we were hoping for good gyros. This is not the place. Meat was bland, oily, was ground meat rather than gyro style meat, no lamb in sight. Meat may have had filler. Overall a disappointing place.

Been here a handful of times in the past. Food is pretty good, although portions felt a little more on the smaller side compared to other kebab places I've been to. The restaurant is quaint and feels very mom and pop in my opinion. The reason I'm only able to give 3 stars is because of an unfortunate online ordering mishap. Couple months ago, I placed a decent sized order online through their website and it went through -- took my payment and got a receipt. After waiting the allotted time and heading over to the restaurant, I had come to find it was closed. I assumed it must have been because of the bad weather we'd been having and that at some point they lost power and decided to head home for the evening. By the time I'd gotten there, power was back but no one was there of course. This wasn't really a big deal since it was not at all their fault. However, I did realize that, regardless of the inclement weather, the hours listed on their website, yelp, and on their door all differed slightly which I'm sure is also not intentional, but could potentially cause confusion for other customers. I followed up a couple days later to see what could be done to get a refund as of course I didn't get my meal and like... I no longer wanted it. The person I spoke with on the phone said that if I wanted a refund, it was completely out of his hands and I'd have to go through their online ordering service. Which apparently would be a lengthy process so he offered to fulfill the my same order anytime at a later date. I appreciated that, but I really preferred to get the refund since I would not be in the area for some time and didn't want to go out of my way to justify the issue. While the person I spoke to on the phone was very kind and easy to talk to, I just felt like the onus was put upon me to make it right which felt weird to me. Mind you this was an order for multiple people, so I'd either have to just part ways with my money or go out of my way to head out to the restaurant then find a way to either share or save a decent amount of food for later. Anyways, just sucks that I'm basically out $50 bucks. I'd still go back if I found myself in the area craving kabobs, but I'd just make sure to order in person to make sure they were actually open and avoid their online ordering system.

I wish I read the reviews before ordering there.I am in a hospital waiting for a heart transplant. I was craving lamb, so I ordered through Uber eat. When the food came, the spinach was spoiled I dumped it. I ate the salad. Then ate the lamb; now I am down with food poisoning. Which shot my kidneys and I am in deeper health issue now. I talked to the manager, I told him to check his kitchen. But, please read those reviews before ordering online. I wish I did.No star if it was possible. And owner/manager, food is very sensitive. Be careful.

I get the Chicken Karahi every time. Always. I've not found anyone else that makes this dish as amazing as this place. Mom and pop shop, homemade bread to die for. Ask for some rice on the side too.
